I know that it's going to be a different game. I know that instantly arming traps are not unavoidable because they have been in the game before. You had to use Scatter Shot to hit it. Barov's Peasant Caller? C'thun Tentacle? Mirror Images?
It isn't as easy as you think it is, especially if we're losing a core ability like Scatter Shot. That's like Warrior losing Charge or Mage losing Frost Nova. It's a huge deal.
Even if it was unavoidable, if that was the only CC a Hunter had that means you're potentially CC'd for 8 of every 30 seconds. As a Gladiator player I can easily explain to you that 8 seconds of CC plus "Counter Shot" pressure is much less than has been possible for the entire rest of the game.
And, is MUCH less than is possible by Mage on beta right now. Because you can CHAIN Polymorph so 8-4-2 instead of 8, free for 30 unless he wants to lose his pressure, 8, free for 30 etc.
How hard is it going to be to juke Counter Shot? Meanwhile, removing Imp CS probably isn't even being considered. And Deep Freeze is basically like a superior version of Scatter Shot which you get to keep. And Ring of Frost, Frostjaw, Frost Nova, Pet Nova, and oh yeah, Polymorph.
Do you understand how hunter CC works? Like, who cares if you're a Gladiator or not. If it has a 12 second cooldown, even if it's unavoidable do you honestly not grasp how much different that is than.. anything previous?
No season has someone been capable of only 8 seconds of CC plus an interrupt. Rogues have always had longer than that comboing stuns, Warrior even has shout, Death Knight is.. a hero class aaaand even Priests have always had the threat of mind control or whatever.
Hunter as you morons are describing it would literally have the lowest CC I can think of in arena history. Meanwhile, you're complaining about it being excessive.
That's just ignorant. You guys don't even have arguments, you're just Mages who are mad. Again, grats on access playing a Mage in whatever season this is. Really fantastic work.
