I believe this is only for rank 1 and not all title eligibility but I could be mistaken, the info isn't really clear.

 

edit: blue confirmed 150 is for Gladiator and Rank 1. 50 wins for the others.

IMO the game is in its worst state when dampening comps are tier 1. They are only "fun" to play because you win every game and have hardly any counters - if any. Full melee rushdown meta is no good either but is at least games are over with in less than 10 min and there's almost always answers unless you're an rsham. The whole boomkin debauchery this season is the only thing that comes close to S17 FLS in terms of disgusting do nothing and win gameplay with no counters.

To balance the game is quite simple.

Just get every rmx player together, and have them finally let the game be balanced.

Not sure having players on the balancing team would accomplish anything good for the game, because players are so biased.

 

Having regular meets, maybe online calls every month and then a yearly summit type thing could definitely have a positive impact.

 

I think the Devs in the past have heard issues from players and tried to come up with their own solutions and often fuck things up worse. Like Rets being CC'd non-stop in MoP so they gave them -50% CC duration for wings on their set bonus. Then next thing you know, S1 WoD you had previously 2k Rets being top 5 on ladder. That could have very easily been something much more intelligent fix-wise. I would have suggested seperating the magic removal mechanic absolve from sac and have it be separate. After all, it was a bandaid fix in MoP for that to be there in the first place. No reason with a new expansion to keep bandaid fixes in when there was ample opportunity to fix it properly with WoD..
