I've played every class in this game thoroughly, no class or spec in this game gets countered harder from a space bar than a warrior, if you think differently you either haven't played a warrior or are inexperienced with most other classes in this game.

I mean it would suck to get stunned in the fire if it does a lot of damage. Outside of that, I really don't see why there is 2 pages worth of crying, get over it. Fire isn't hard to avoid nor 2 narrow wooden strips spanning across the map. From the sounds of this though next time I hop in a raid vs a boss that drops small fires in set positions I might as well just leave the raid and say we can't fucking do this, damn it blizz. -_-

does this mean glad will be top .5% of everyone, or will they still somehow make it only your battlegroup

Note they said it can extend outside of your battlegroup. Since this is the last purpose for a BG really if they wanted glad to be .5% of every player they would just remove bgs.

Just tested it on the PTR in a random wargame and it seems to either be bugged still or it will be super broken. The pillars are not coming up and down anymore, they just never come up so this map has 0 LoS for the time being. The starting zones are diagonal to behind the large pillars, in a way you may be able to see your opponents before the gates even go up (kinda cool). I don't have fancy screenshots only rough drafts hardly worth posting so I'll leave the excitement and imagination up to you guys. ;)

Last week we fought a ret/DK/priest our rdruid was getting zerged down and we had no magic dispel for wings. I used demo shout/tclap, disarm, throwdown, charge stun, intervene, hamstring root, fear, just about everything I could to possibly help but he still got lower and lower. Finally I yelled PEELING WITH DAMAGE poped reck, deadly clam, trinket, and blood fury and killed the DK in 5 secs :) he looked more confused than lopez at a heterosexual convention.

50% on ptr is very noticeable... 100% was way too much but 50 is overkill. Gonna stick to my rogue after this patch.

The changes to CS hasn't updated on PTR yet :wacko:
MS OP and slam are still un nerfed too.
What you feel on the PTR is a touch of whats to come ;)

In regards to the DKs need x nerfed. Am I crazy to think the class that has EVERYTHING really needs a curse of tongues and AoE slow on a spammable MS type healing absorb? Also should shit players like double tank DK be 2400?

Two spammable slows, a pet, a 2nd on demand pet, gap closer, break stuns + immunity, break fear, immune polys/fear, 2 defensive abilities on short cds, 75% slow avoidance, curse of tongues, a melee interrupt and a counter spell, 3 different ways to heal, an ability that can copy spells, and a nice medley of physical/magic damage.

Not saying anyone who plays a DK sucks, but yeah talk about unstoppable. If you think DKs don't need nerfed then I'm sure you're just having a blast with yours. :)

Oh, a shaman talking about surviving 45 min games against 1200 rated rampage warriors with a rogue and a ret pally on his team. You can survive those amazing warriors with a rogue controlling an entire team and a ret pally healing for as much as you do. I guess that makes warriors a fair and balanced class.

Yes I'm cockblocked at 1200 with a ret and rogue partner, they may also be glads but we find pushing out of 1200 too challenging now stop hurting my feelings.

My point remains yes warriors do really high damage, not unhealable, but burst incredibly hard if you don't focus on kiting or cc'ing heavy during deadly calm/reck. Just like when people see rets use wings they immediately look at the ret to dispel/CC/control him in anyway. The difference is most players don't watch for deadly calm and it doesn't have much of a distinct animation instead they just try going toe to toe with the warrior and then running for their life when they suddenly get low. Taking bets that if a giant ass sword appeared over warriors heads during deadly calm it wouldn't be near as much of an issue.

Because a surprising amount of people don't choose their career based off their progression in wow, but rather what they were trained and went to school for. Would be nice to have some top players standing behind them slapping them in the head when they get stupid ideas though.

*Mortal Strike - This ability now causes 400% weapon dama.... /slap
*Charge - Now has a 1 min cd shared with heroic lea..... /slap

So I was pretty anxious to try out these warrior changes first hand after reading them so decided it was worth my time to download and try it. Pretty interesting so far even though it's still very early in the testing. So from my point of view:

  • Heroic Leap - This ability works like a charm now and has an acceptable y axis for us to actually jump on to and even over obstacles. Still doesn't work to jump from the bottom to upper level of Dalaran arena, can't imagine that it will/should either.
  • Colossus Smash - I was actually slightly worried about this change but after fighting some DKs, warriors, hunters and so on I was relieved that the numbers were still right on with what we are currently hitting for. (Resil nerf also factored into this)
  • Charge - On the upside landing full duration stuns on a regular basis is just lovely, and 11 sec cd when glyphed almost makes it feel as if intercept were still around. Downside is if you're slowed when you charge they'll still get away from you, still getting charges jumped.
  • Rallying Cry - This ability doesn't even work, you use it and nothing at all happens. Obviously bugged but it's pretty self explanatory to use it with enraged regen or if your partners need it.
  • Mortal Strike/Overpower/Slam - I'd say these abilities outside of when used with CS are right on where they should be for damage. With 3/3 lambs I was critting 15k MS and 12k OPs on a 3200 resil warrior.
  • Hamstring - This change was actually overwhelming at first, since the gcd is pretty much like an s8 poly cast if you accidentally double tap it you probably just used your root. As you can imagine though even with this change it only freed warriors up for more damage globals and I was still getting kited by melee/hunter/mages like a fat man fighting ninjas.

I also learned that worgen warriors are really exciting to play, flipping constantly B)

Yeah warriors are a solo team of their own, we have every tool available in game.

Way to break stun and immunity to them, near immunity to slows, aoe slows covering the map when we use attacks, a ranged 60% slow, a short cd that makes us immune to magic effects, a steroid freak pet, 2 interrupts, a 3rd pet when we get really angry, curse of tongues, a gap closer that throws enemies out of position, and finally we can attack ourselves for healing then attack others for healing then kill our pet for healing. :rolleyes:

Oh but enough about us, lets talk about you.
