I'm pretty sure every mage wants to use barrier but we just can't.  With everyone and their mother having spammable offensive dispels on top of barrier having dogshit absorb, it's just not viable. It's iconic and second nature for most of us, and it's a shame we can't afford to use it. As long as RDruids remain our healbot overlords, Flameglow will just be default. Barrier would need insane buffs (IE: undispellability or something equally outrageous such as toning down dispels) for it to compare.

This is very helpful, thank you. I just discovered the # but I'm unclear as to how it exactly works. Not very experienced with coding :P

Check the link in my sig for exact numbers, but TLDR for frost is as follows:

Haste/Versa rep head, Crit/Versa rep bracers, 4pc, haste everywhere else. ~21% passive haste is unreal.

Answered your own question right there. If RDruids weren't blatantly and outrageously overpowered, we wouldn't exist on ladders.

And to answer your other question "Is this enjoyable?", no. Fuck no. We have always been the cc machine on the team, but this is just pathetic. Running for you life every game waiting for Ice Nova charges is not enjoyable. Luckily 6.1 fixes our hardcasted damage a little bit, so it'll feel rewarding getting bolts off, but at the moment i's really really fucking boring.

Comet Storm buffed on PTR:
  • Comet Storm Calls down a series of 7 icy comets on and around the target, each of which does [ 1 + 51.6% of Spell Power 1;] Frost damage, split between all enemies within 4 yards of its impact point. Mage - LvL 100 Talent. 1% of Base Mana. 40 yd range. Instant. 30 sec cooldown.

1:1 Ratio is actually huge, almost doubles the damage and now we can force 7 crits but casting into Deep.  Spreadsheet in sig updated!
