Next season trinket

03 June 2011 - 12:08 PM

http://db.mmo-champi...-of-khazgoroth/

Apparatus of Khaz'goroth
Heroic
Epic
Binds when picked up
Unique: Apparatus of Khaz'goroth (1)
Miscellaneous
Trinket
+433 Strength
Requires Level 85
Item Level 391
Your melee critical strikes grant Titanic Power, allowing you to power this device.
Use: Consume all Titanic Power to increase your critical strike rating, haste rating, or mastery rating by 345 per Titanic Power accumulated. The apparatus will always choose the highest of those three ratings. (2 Min Cooldown)

Although I will be going heavy resilience next patch, this trinket looks interesting. I have no clue how many Titanic Powers can be accumulated, but if you can stack alot, then I dare not even guess how high Frost Strike will hit.

If there's no limit, well... Someone will get butthurt :P

Edit: Titanic Powers will obviously be accumulated through KM procs. Also this:

normal version is a trash drop and will end up on the AH

2nd Edit: http://www.wowhead.com/spell=96923
Probably means 5 stacks is maximum, aka +1725 rating when used, making it on par with other trinkets.

Weird thing I just noticed with the mmr-system

23 May 2011 - 06:31 PM

I did 2s on character A having 2800 mmr playing with someone with 2300 mmr. If we won a game I gained +7 mmr and he gained +5, which obviously means the gap INCREASES if we only win.

I also did 3s on character B having 1500 mmr playing with 2x 2k-ish mmr people. However, when we won here, I would gain MORE mmr then they would, and we all ended up at 2.2k mmr (with a gap less than 40 between everyone).

tl;dr: Winning in 2s increased the mmr gap between players, winning in 3s DECREASED the gap.

Anyone else noticed this, or did I miss something?

Dead warrior intervened sap

28 April 2011 - 07:49 PM

Yeah, basicly:

Druid in blind.
Warrior intervenes.
Warrior dies.
Trying to sap druid -> warrior (the dead one!) took the sap (although he was "immune").

Obviously completely irrelevant as the game was already over, but still. QQ :P

Edit: And no, it was not the druid who was "immune". He hadn't been CCed for half a minute prior to blind, plus it changed my target to the warrior.
