Feral

Savage Roar now increases physical damage done by 40%, up from 30%.

Hunter

Aspect of the Hawk now increases ranged attack power by 25%, up from 15%.

Retribution

Sword of Light now increases the damage you deal with two-handed melee weapons by 30%, up from 15%.

Enhancement
  • Lava Lash now does 300% weapon damage, up from 250%.
  • Mental Quickness now grants 65% of your attack power to spell power, up from 55%.
  • Stormstrike now does 450% weapon damage, up from 375%.
  • Stormblast now does 450% weapon damage, up from 375%.
  • Stormstrike now does 450% weapon damage, up from 375%.
  • Windfury Attack now does additional damage equal to three extra attacks with extra attack power, up from two.
Monk

Rising Sun Kick now causes all targets within 8 yards to take an increased 20% damage from your abilities for 15 sec, up from 10%.


Does anyone else think this is the last thing these classes needed? I guess there isn't enough one shotting going on atm.

Man, I really hope that almost all of the 5.2 Rogue changes get rolled back.  I know it's kinda shitty for me to come here and say that, but it just feels like the buffs are almost entirely in the exact wrong places.

Update:

I was just out in the krasarang wilds, and this fierce wild flamingo jumped me. Let me preface this by saying, it didn’t stand a chance; to put it in perspective, this flamingo had a better chance of acquiring a spaceship and flying to the Alpha Centauri solar system. Anyways, I proceeded to one shot this bird, reminiscent of seasons past when Kurum would resummon 4-5 monkeys only to have them die instantly. After looting this retarded bird, I spot out of the corner of my eye a seasoned level 87 Orc warrior. So feeling pretty good after that flamingo win, I decide to take on a real challenger. I stealth over and open with my coveted cheap-shot ability. Once he stabilizes at 30%, he decides to use his AoE kidneyshot ability, there was no cheating this death. A few 200k’s later; I’m at the graveyard wondering where I went wrong in life.

As I sat there pondering my life choices, I came to a grim realization; I had become the fierce wild flamingo.

Bored, 6 am can't sleep.


*Return Blind to 2 minute cd. As said before, we don't need more CC, we need other classes to have less.
*Remove Paralytic poison. We need less CC, not more.


ESSENTIAL:
*Shadowstep baseline. This is no longer an argument, just Blizzard being stubborn.
*Deadly throw returned to baseline (no interrupt effect). Essential now that we can't 'Throw' to apply poisons without Shuriken toss. Not having deadly throw baseline means without Shuriken Toss, we are 'obligated' into taking Shadowstep for a gap closer when chasing. Sprint and burst of speed are too unreliable for the energy cost / cooldown respectively.
*EDIT ADDED: Please allow us to apply non-lethal poisons with 'Throw' again

POSSIBLE:
*Evasion is not even worth mentioning anymore, only 50% dodge on a 3 minute cd? THIS could be a 1 minute CD and would be more useful. I mean, Evasion (3 min, 50% dodge) vs Die by the Sword (2 mins, 100% parry, AND 20% damage reduction) hello?
*Redirect change : Taken off the GCD, cooldown lowered, or cooldown removed. As of now it's pretty 'meh', and always has been, aside from redirect kidneys.

Talents reworked -
Tier 1 - Stealth : Nightstalker, Subterfuge, Shadow Focus
Tier 2 - Defensive CDs : Elusiveness, Combat Readiness, Improved Recup (5% DMG reduction, heals 5%/3secs, now has 30s cooldown)*
Tier 3 - Passive CDs : Cheat Death, Nerves of Steel, Leeching Poison
Tier 4 - Mobility : Preparation, Burst of Speed, Improved Sprint (Increases Movement speed 30%, breaks snares, remove glyph)
Tier 5 - Incapacitates : Prey on the Weak, Nerve Strike, Dirty Tricks
Tier 6 - Utility / CP : Anticipation, Shuriken toss, Cold blood (+ 25 energy, 2 CPs, +50% crit chance)

Tier 1 is obvious.

Tier 2 gives choice between some very strong defensive cooldowns. Remember, both Combat readiness and Imp recup used to be pretty standard, but having both was a bit overkill.

Tier 3 gives some passive defense vs the burst that classes are capable of. Rogues are one of the lowest (if not the?) armored classes in game now, with no passive armor increase or damage reduction (Shadow form, ice barrier, frost armor, etc) and thus take full damage from autoattacks/physical attacks with only armor mitigation. We're the easiest class to swap and kill as no cooldown we have aside from cheat currently saves us in a stun (vs Disperse, Monk unhittable bullshit, Ice block, Icebound, etc) yet take the most damage. Why?

Tier 4 is about mobility and control. Pretty obvious. Gives some use to sprint, because lower cooldown doesn't mean anything when we can just get snared or rooted anyway.

Tier 5 gives some flavor to incapacitates and stuns. Could consider something like a cooldown reduction on stuns / gouge instead of Dirty tricks, giving up the offensive damage/defensive damage reduction from stuns in favor of shorter cooldowns.

Tier 6 is about combo point management and generation. Cold blood would give us a slightly different form of Premed, on longer cd.

I love all the people complaining about a 1min cd instant cc that has been that way for ages and was only recently set to 3mins while we have retarded shit like mages locks spriests druids and hunters running around but thats ok. As for the changes its def a step in the right direction but i hope this isnt all they have planned couse it wont be anywhere near enough its sickening how they tip toe around buffing shadowstep or giving rogues prep back yet nearly every other melee class in the game has about 2 ways to stay in melee range on a short cd

What an horrible community lol, im trying to provide content to people to help them improving/keeping interrest into the game and that's what im getting?
I am actually trying to work hard for ppl not only doing typing test and collecting money, using something ive built over the years

The video on AJ frontpage is for obvious reasons, why does it bother you so much? youd rather keep looking at tr announcement when its out since 1 week ?

I didn't do shit to hydra and xandyn admitted it later but his post got deleted (lol).

@ Starcookie : you should focus on improving instead of bitching like that because trust me you are really bad at this game, i won't even bother making things i know about you public because it implies other persons but i know how much of an horrible human being you are too.

Who cares if WoW is as balanced as SC2 or not, if people enjoy playing / watching it then that's what matters.  It's like saying an action movie doesn't take as much skill from the actors as a serious drama so it shouldn't be shown.

As far as saying it's not an e-sport I don't think people even know the definition of the word, because if it's played at tournaments then it's an e-sport whether it's as hard of a game or not and I don't think anyone is arguing that WoW is harder to play than SC2.

Anyway, on topic I'm let down as well that there's no WoW streamed as SC2 is streamed 24/7 so it's not like there's not much and more of it to watch whereas there's never any WoW for those of us who are still interested in watching arena.

Before I begin let me talk about trinkets. Even if you plan on using "full pvp gear" it is very advantageous that you attempt to get at least the raid finder version of any of the 3 trinkets.
Cunning of the Cruel > Insignia of the Corrupted Mind > Will of Unbinding.
Other trinkets you may want
Bottled Wishes (1650 Valor Points)
Variable Pulse Lightning Capacitor (normal/heroic Ragnaros)
Darkmoon Card: Volcano (from the AH)
Will of Unbinding would be better than both, but it does not proc on DoTs, so it will just fall off with one CC. If you do not have either of these, Darkmoon Card: Volcano is a decent last resort or you can just wear 5k resil and use double PvP trinkets.

Searing Pain damage is total shit, no good player will intentionally CS it unless their teammate is literally about to die and there's nothing else to interrupt.  Obviously sometimes people will CS Searing Pain and whatnot but it's generally accidental and whenever someone does it to me I'm feeling like they made a pretty big mistake.  I've had people spam Searing Pain or even cast Incinerates on TR but with Tongues up you can basically just laugh at them and wait until they start casting on Shadow >.>

Seems to me that any team that's consistently CSing your Searing Pains would be an easy win anyway unless I'm really missing something.  Honestly it's basically impossible to avoid every interrupt against the best players who know how to hold their interrupt and have extremely good ping / reaction times simply because if you keep trying to fake it you'll just CC yourself and someone who's very good at it such as Reckful holds his interrupt until the last 5% or w/e of your cast so if you fake there then you're basically CCing yourself and if you don't you'll get interrupted or kidneyed or gouged and so on.

It's a nice change imo, but it doesn't really have much effect on anything other than allowing you to keep UA up easier while you're being trained really hard.

  • Who & Friends list:

Only allow a player to see another player's location by having each other on their friends list.


Why: The Who & Friends list allows anyone to see a players location. Seeing a players location negatively effects arena because it promotes the term "selective queuing". Selective queuing is choosing who you play against. Selective queuing is also known as "dodging" and "sniping". Dodging and sniping a team is simple, especially at high ratings. In order to dodge a team, you need to have a character on their realm. When they enter an arena game, you log off their realm and queue. Sniping a team is the exact opposite. You wait for the team to leave an arena game and then queue. There is absolutely nothing competitive about selective queuing and it's unfair by any standard or measure. A player should only be allowed to see another players location if they have each other on their friends list.



  • Snare & Movement Speed Increase Mechanic:

Make movement speed increases more effective against snares.


Why: Movement speed increases are rendered almost useless against snares.


Examples:

(Walking)

(Sprinting)

(Walking w/ Crippling applied)

(Sprinting w/ Crippling applied)

(Fleet Footed + Glyph of Sprint vs. Hamstring)

(No Fleet Footed + No Glyph of Sprint vs. Hamstring)



  • Crowd Control Movement:

Remove the movement from Sheep, Blind and Fear.


Why: The movement from Sheep, Blind and Fear can cause you to disconnect on moving objects, delay PvP trinketing and add randomness to the game.

(Polymorph + PvP trinket + Vanish)

(Deep Freeze)



  • Nameplates:

Increase the height of nameplates.


Why: Nameplates cover the target when zoomed out (especially Gnomes).

  • Flare:

Greatly increase the projectile speed of flare. Make flare more visual on the ground.


Why: Flare is very hard to see and misleading.

  • Absorb Mechanic:

Make damage absorbed count as damage taken.


Why: Fear doesn't count absorb as damage taken. This makes fear last longer than it should when taking damage.



  • Mutilate & Backstab:

Remove the dagger requirement from Mutilate and Backstab. Normalize and reduce damage of Backstab and Mutilate with weapons other than daggers (like Fan of Knives, Ambush and Hemorrhage).


Why: With Ambush, Fan of Knives and Hemorrhage now scaling with other types of weapons, I see no reason why Backstab and Mutilate should be any different. Removing the dagger requirement from Backstab and Mulilate would allow Rogues other viable specializations without having to acquire another weapon type.



  • Cloak of Shadows:

Make Cloak of Shadows protect against finished casts, Judgements, Death Grip and Blood Plague.


Why: Majority of the time a Rogue is hit through Cloak of Shadows is because casts that have projectile speed can not be resisted once the cast has finished. Rogues have no real way of protecting themselves against Judgements, Death Grip and Blood Plague.


Examples:

(Completed cast vs. CoS)

(Judgement -> CoS)

(Death Grip & Blood Plague -> CoS)



  • Damage & Debuff Dealing Passive Auras & Buffs:

Add a very short interval cool-down to damage & debuff dealing passive auras & buffs.


Why: Damage & debuff dealing passive auras & buffs affect classes more than others, thus making other classes jobs harder than others.


Examples:

(Death by Thorns)

(Death by Ret Aura)

(Death by Thorns + Ret Aura)



  • Pyro Rocket:

Allow Pyro Rocket to be resisted and deflected.


Why: Pyro Rocket penetrates Cloak of Shadows & Deterrence.


Examples:

(Pyro Rocket -> CoS)

(Pyro Rocket -> Deterrence)



  • Names:

Scale size of Names that are visible with in the game field when zoomed out.


Why: It's very hard to see Names that are visible with in the game field when zoomed out.

  • Deterrence:

Allow unavoidable melee attacks to be parried by Deterrence.

  • Shadow Dance:

Make it easier to setup the Shadow Dance bar. Disable stance swapping while Shadow Dance is active or allow Stance 3 to swap back after vanishing or stealthing.


Why: The only way to setup the Shadow Dance bar is by activating the ability. Stealthing or Vanishing while Shadow Dance is active basically deactivates Shadow Dance.

  • Auto Attack:

Reduce the volume of auto attacks.


Why: It can be very hard to hear other abilities being activated.



  • Unit Frames:

Make the Target, Player, Party and Arena Unit Frames movable.


Why: The Focus Frame is movable. Why shouldn't these frames be movable?



  • Action Bars:

Add more action bars to the user interface.


Why: Some classes are running out of action bar space.



  • Character Specific Macros:

Greatly increase the number of character specific macro slots available.


Why: A lot of people are running out of macro space. Once you run out of Character Specific macros, your only alternative is to use the General macros tab. The General macros tab shares macros with all characters on the account, which is very inconvenient.



  • GM Ticket:

Make the GM Ticket notification a minimap button (like mail).


Why: The current GM Ticket notification window interferes with the buffs & debuffs, which is very inconvenient.

  • Chat Spam:

Greatly reduce the amount of messages a player can send (like Warcraft 3).


Why: Spam is out of control. It's extremely hard to read trade chat without an addon.

  • Combat Text:

Make the Combat Text more customizable.


Why: The Combat Text is extremely bland compared to the addons out today.



  • Unit Frame Combat Indicator:

Add a combat indicator to the target & focus frame (like the player frame).


Why: It can be hard to tell if a target is in combat or not.



  • Arena Tournament Realm:

Remove low level enchants. Give characters bottomless bags and put all useful class specific items in bags.


Why: Would make setting up a character much easier.



  • Focus & Target Arena:

Implement Focus Arena 1-5 and Target Arena 1-5 in keybindings.


Why: Would save a lot of people 6 - 10 macros, unless they're super creative. :)
