While everyone is so concerned with how Nicholas looks, what you fail to realize is hes been hiding in plain sight this entire time. You've been staring at him, you just never knew.

#4138712 Removing the cyst that are known wintraders and ddosers from site

Posted Wrathful on 10 June 2014 - 05:03 PM

Can we please get some moderators to finally take actions against the cancer that are Roguetrainer etc?

They are a plague to this website and soon enough will lead to worse situations than what already exists.

Seriously tho, using a swastika as your profile pic should be a guaranteed instant and permanent ban.

Please take actions.

#3782358 Useful hunter info thread

Posted Kettu on 28 September 2012 - 01:23 PM

Since there is no similar thread, might as well start one.

:hunter: :hunter: :hunter: :hunter: :hunter: :hunter: :hunter: :hunter: :hunter: :hunter: :hunter: :hunter: :hunter: :hunter: :hunter: :hunter: :hunter: :hunter: :hunter: :hunter: :hunter: :hunter: :hunter: :hunter: :hunter: :hunter:

Lets gather all new hunter stuff into one thread so people don't have to scroll through 10 threads when looking for info etc. Many people will find it useful.

You post something that you don't expect every hunter here to know.

I'll start.

-Pet attack doesn't break camoflauge anymore; you can hang around in stealth and pop CDs / intimidation / mend pet / pet skills and gank people without letting them ever see you. Quite useful in pvp.

-Most people know but few might not: Hunters now have 3 different knockbacks: Explo trap glyph, Powershot and Rhino pet. Enjoy on blade's edge arena etc.

-Was mentioned in the other thread, but might as well post it here: Stampede uses all your 5 pets' skills that can be left on autocast. For example if you have Spirit beast, Devilsaur, Wind Serpent, Core Hound and Rhino and you you pop Stampede, your entire group will get 900mastery buff (more at lvl 90), 5% crit buff. On top of that your target will get mortal strike, 50% increased cast time (25% in pvp), 4% more physical dmg taken and 5% more magical dmg taken debuffs.

-Quilen pets have combat ress

-Hyenas have 10% attack speed buff

-If you spec into Fervor / similar skills that are off GCD, macro them into readiness so you never forget to use them before popping readiness etc.

-Scatter shot doesn't break on pet dmg anymore; you can scatter your nuke target, stop auto shot, pop Lynx rush and smash kill command etc. Good for killing healers.

#3772844 European tournaments - assembling a team

Posted WildeHilde on 17 September 2012 - 07:34 AM

Over the last weeks the stunlocked team started to work on a concept for European online WoW tournaments. We have a working tournament UI and will run showmatches for testing over the next weeks. We want to bring not only the well-known names that participated at tournaments for years but also new teams. Right now we are looking for members that would like to join the team and make a name for themselves as shout-casters and streamers/camera men. This is not based on server or guild - we look for participants from all over Europe.

The idea
Competitive communities are based on tournaments. This is where champions are born and names are made. I strongly believe that MoP has a good chance to have a competitive pvp scene. Sponsors are looking at WoW again. Now is the opportunity to make it happen and we want to build a team for that.

You need to be communicative, entertaining and have a good awareness and class-knowledge. Also you need to speak English well. We have one shout-caster up until now and we would love to expand that. Shout-casting needs training of course, but I am certain that a lot of capable casters are around in the EU. If you want to make a name for yourself, let me know and we can give you the chance to participate during our wargame tests.

Camera men and streamers
You need a good connection and a computer that can handle recording the matches while streaming. You also need a good awareness of the game and be able to let the viewers see the critical moments of the matches. We currently have one streamer for the tournaments.

Video artists
The tournament videos all will all be on youTube. We would love to have them edited by someone that has expertise in this area or is willing to build it up. You need video software and have knowledge about editing.

Designers and Illustrators
If you are a good designer or illustrator we can certainly use your help on the team.

What we have Required
You need to have Raidcall installed, as this software will be used for communication around the tournaments and has a much better security than Skype, especially against DOS/DDOS attacks.

What about cash?
This is one of the goals, but if you look for something that will pay your rent this will not suffice. Once the tests are finished we will contact potential sponsors with an expose. Price money is the first thing to spend money on. It is not my goal to make money with tournaments, but to support cash prices and the team with money from sponsors and add-revenue.

Why you deleted skirmish ? It was a very major thing in the game, for us, pvp players.
Skirmish were much MORE used than wargames.

I really want them back in the game like a lot of players.

#3769054 #1 PvP Server?

Posted Conradical on 15 September 2012 - 02:33 AM

He was the leader of the Nathrezim of the Burning Legion, under the command of Kil'jaeden. He was a major character in the Warcraft III Path of the Damned, The Invasion of Kalimdor, and Eternity's End campaigns. While he appeared often, he was never available for the user to control.

He did not appear to have any part in the War of the Ancients, though at times in WarCraft III, his comments implied firsthand experience. Since he is not mentioned in the War of the Ancients trilogy, he may not have played a significant or noteworthy role.

Prior to the Third War, He was chosen by Kil'jaeden to personally police the newest agent of the Legion, Ner'zhul, the malefic Lich King. He was none too pleased with the appointment, but accepted it in the end. As befitting his status as the greatest of the Nathrezim, He was placed in charge of a number of Scourge operations. Following the corruption of Prince Arthas Menethil, He introduced himself to the Death Knight, providing him with orders from Ner'zhul, especially concerning the resurrection of Kel'Thuzad. Because he didn't entirely trust Arthas, Hepretended to be another one of the Lich King's followers. The ghost of Kel'Thuzad, however, informed Arthas that He and the other dreadlords were actually the Lich King's jailers.

He regularly discussed the Scourge's progress with his colleagues, Anetheron and Mephistroth, who remained on a Legion planet in the Nether. The Darkener expressed (justified) concern that Ner'zhul had alternative plans for his new "champion," but Mephistroth pointed out that he "wouldn't dare undermine our efforts now."
The dreadlord continued his work, eventually overseeing the death of Uther Lightbringer, the invasion and destruction of Quel'Thalas, and the siege of Dalaran. Once Archimonde was summoned, he decreed that the Lich King was no longer needed, and gave He control of the Scourge.

The humans, having lost their most powerful leaders and heroes, quickly fell before the might of the Legion, now joined by Mannoroth. Mannoroth was still sore over the orcs' failure to conquer Azeroth years before, and was angrier still when He smugly observed that the Scourge had done the job the orcs couldn't. Mannoroth became even more enraged when He informed him that the orcs had left the continent. The pit lord was eager to take his frustrations out on the orcs, so at the first opportunity he and He picked up the trail and followed the orcs to the ancient land of Kalimdor.
The arrival at Kalimdor reminded the pair of demon lords only too well that the threat of the night elves still remained, as well as the demigod, Cenarius. Mannoroth suspected that unless weakened, they would still pose a considerable threat. He, however, came up with a solution. He knew that the orcs had earned the wrath of Cenarius, and he believed that corrupting the orcs once again would give them the power to defeat Cenarius, leaving him defeated when the Legion began their invasion of Kalimdor in full. Encouraged by the Darkener's plot, Mannoroth spilt his burning blood into a sacred pool...

In spite of Mannoroth's death at the hands of Grom Hellscream, He proceeded with the invasion. The Scourge, more dangerous than ever thanks the demonic support of felhounds, doomguard and infernals, was more than successful in penetrating Ashenvale without Cenarius's intervention. The combined forces of the orcs and the humans, coupled with the resistance of the night elves, eventually managed to halt their progress.
As the invasion of Kalimdor progressed, He began corrupting the forests of Felwood using a powerful warlock artifact, the Skull of Gul'dan. However, the skull was consumed by Illidan Stormrage, who had been tipped off by none other than Arthas. Transformed by the skull into a demon-hybrid, Illidan used his newfound power to defeat He and slayed him along his demonic forces.

After his death, his brother, Anetheron became the new lord of the Nathrezim.
