Nakatoir / Sam Dempsey is someone that cares about PvP. Love that he is on the EU community team. Thanks Sam!

As minpojke said conrad/azael together are so good together as commentators, they commentate very well and they can handle the down time better than anyone else I have seen. If there were anyone on the same level as them on eu perhaps they could be given the chance to commentate but its harder than it looks. I think people are blowing it out of proportion, its so trivial to ask questions like who is the best, and its even more trivial to answer them, its personal preference/friendship %90 of the case anyway. Dont take it so seriously.

Well,i can tell you US players got many EU fanboys, just cos of those reasons.Every tournament - 2 US commentators.Theres huge hype goin on on US players.I cant say EU players are better, but at least they are on same level as US players.

Azael and Conrad literally said exactly what you just said.  They made sure to emphasize that EU and US are on the same level and that there is really no difference in "skill" between the two regions.

Maybe you missed that part, but try not to be so quick to pass judgement next time.

Commentators were so annoying,its Unbelieavable.
"Who is the best shaman-Cdew or kollective"
"Who is the best Priest-Khryl"
"Who is the best Warlock-Nadagast"
etc etc,its like theres no other countries.Only US players exist. And EU proved  in many tourneys that we have better players.ANd its always like this,in every tournament there are 2-3 US commentators.Thats why ppl worship Us players.Pls,invite some good EU comentators next time.

Not taking any part on EU vs. US but the commentating was just embarassing. I mean how stupid can you be to not see bias like this has no place if you're commentating? Aren't you supposed to be Switzerland on this instead of riding your buddies dicks?

Jesus.

Just a suggestion for the organizers  you can try to hook up with a vpn sponser.  They may be able to give some vpn accounts that you can distribute to the players.  Or barring that if you can use some of the prize pool to buy 1 month vpn for the players.

That should get rid of most DDOS as long as the player does not have a static ip.

disqualify any team that gets ddosed, never reinvite to future tournaments. If they want to play for prize money they can damn well take the time to prevent themselves from getting ddosed. If they can't do this for whatever reason, YOU DON'T ENTER THE TOURNAMENT

I think some people come to AJ because someone was mean to them IRL during the day and this is the one place they can be an internet tough guy and complain.  For once in your internet lives, can we get a thread where no one whines like my 2 year old?

  • Last Again: Venruki/Sodah/Talbadar (Mage/Druid/Priest)
  • The Time is Now: Jahmilli/Starship/Zaddo (Mage/Druid/Priest)
  • TSG: Veev/Talason/Zilea (Warrior/Druid/Paladin)
  • Knew you were trouble: Cdew/Kurum/Corje (Shaman/Hunter/Warrior)
  • Comprendre L'Empire: Flubbah/Cara/Skoe (Shaman/Warrior/Priest)
  • Yas Reality Check: Shawir/Another/Geru (Warrior/Death Knight/Paladin)
any reason for inviting 4 us teams and 2 eu?

also srsly wondering why 90% of eu players in this tourny are running weird as fuck comps? as far as i can see, the only ones standing a serious chance (from eu) is cara skoe and flubbah. maybe trollsweeds team too if they dont have to play mirror.

dno just seems like alot of weird/semi bad comps and alot of random players.. imo you should've went in the same direction of the last yas tourny, with just a bunch of good players and making it abit smaller.

but yea whatever, might turn out fun anyways. eu teams have won us tournaments, would be fun to see us win an eu tourny

The reason to why we didn't invite more EU teams is because there wasn't more teams from EU that deserves invite and whats wrong with the combos? its a good mix and these are the comps that rules in EU and almost every player is known in the EU community and dont complain before you've seen how the tourney turns out just be happy were organizing this for you guys

As a random 1k5 hero, last Yaspresent tournament was the best online tournament I've ever watched.

Fantastic shoutcasting, and these RLS vs Shadowplay matches were completely sick (Mind Control into link... That move !).

I hope this one is gonna be as good and even better than the last one. Juding by the roster this should be really really interesting. The qualifier vs invites thing makes it look pro, as in basketball or other sports.

I hope "Comprendre l'Empire" (rofl at that name... such a troll) will win. I hope Honor Capped will get farmed as they used to in Tol Barad Peninsula back in Cataclysm :P

I'm not that much into the stream donation thing, but I think it would be great if such tournaments could be promoted by viewers.
Is there a way we (as random viewers) can contribute to help this kind of tournaments ?
This must be a mess to organize and the prize pool is pretty huge. Maybe that's why we don't see, player-organized tournaments that often.

How can we help ?
