#4112402 The Most Overpowered Ability in Game

Posted by dionim on 02 May 2014 - 01:59 PM

Warlocks are doing good, ok lets nerf the only thing that they have and didnt changed at all in all the expasion even when they were one of the worst classes in 3s. This may fix the issue

On topic, i can get the point of symbiosis and gateway being cool spells and all that shit

But with those 2 spells blizzard just make the game 50% harder to balance lol, this spells can either be uselees and at the same time gamebreaking.

Imagine you at blizz HQ thinking about how to make every 3s comp have a chance against each other, then you realize that theres 2 spells that can do 1000000000000000000000000000 stuff and change everything you thought before.

#4052795 The best WoW player of all time

Posted by dionim on 12 February 2014 - 05:21 PM

omfg, was reading some coments on this thread, and suddently i felt happy and willing to play wow and also a song came into my mind (Soilwork - Rejection Role)

Then i started to think deep into this feeling and a bunch of songs came into my mind from (Ronald Jenkees)

and to finish this awesome moment, i saw a fat cow fighting with her friend THE PRO, and saying that he will not die, that he will survive when, casting a tranquility.

oh boy, good moments, i wish i will be able to rembember those to tell it to my son one day...

what world you guys live?

no one cares about rank 1, gladiator, high rated players, or even about world of warcraft

wow has never been a good game to watch aside from tournaments, most of people dont even see a good play when it comes out

people dont like the game, they just want entertainment

if you think about why people should watch a high rated play theres some reasons

1 - because they can learn and improve (ofc but since blizzard dont give a fuck about it, wow in 10 years still dont have a spectate mode like dota2 so is really ward to learn by just watching a player pov with no commentators and other stuff that comes from a spectate mode)
2 - because they are cool (LOL just kidding)
3 - i dont see any other reason =\

so we have 1 good reason, now lets see why people should watch a girl playing at 1500 with a good pair of boobs

1 - boobs
2 - girls
3 - because they act like dumb retards to entertain you
4 - because most of people dont like to know theres people alot better than then
5 - because the game doenst matter, so all bad things that wow have are gone and no one cares (like whe a high rated players lose to a fotm viewers will get mad, but the other way around, if sodapopin loses to a 1500 fotm they will laugh like hyenas)

I will exclude the first 2 reasons because well theres better places to see those...

tl;dr if you a hardcore gammer and want to stream for a living, choose another game to play, if you like wow and want to stream for a living act like a retard

#3936217 "Charity"

Posted by dionim on 09 September 2013 - 05:02 PM

For starters I don't go around lying about my intentions to get money for fun.

I can't tell you for sure that the money will go to someone that need it, but looking at how big it is, imo this is really going to help people.

On the other side, the way they found to get attention is wierd and inappropriate, but they're still doing alot more than 99% of the peoples.

I doubt they care that much about poor people, but since im doing nothing about it, i should keep my judges to myself.

#3906700 So how about them ele shams

Posted by dionim on 01 July 2013 - 01:05 PM

It's called RNG. I probably played half the amount of games you played and witnessed plenty. My point still stands, 5 stack TfB would literally 'oneshot' you, and ele shamans don't do that. You seem to be taking this the wrong way, I'm not trying to justify anything, I'm just trying to get you to remember exactly how stupid warriors were. This season still has a lot of room for improvement, but compared to what we endured last season, I really don't find ele shamans to be that terrible to deal with.

Warrior got tfb stacks REMOVED, so we should remove mastery/echo procs from eles?

I dont know why are you comparing those...

#3901070 New Arena tournament hosted by Bleached Bones ~30 000$ prize pool

Posted by dionim on 17 June 2013 - 12:32 PM

a tournament is supposed to determine the best team... if you are able to say "well we can't beat their comp, let's just ban that spec", then you are no longer playing in a tournament setting, you are playing a ladder setting where one team just dodges the other team because they can't beat them.

it's your tournament, you are free to do whatever you like, but i won't play on it if i can just have my spec banned

because wow is not about skill is about comps, that way if you see 3 exceptional players playing fotm, you can ban their fotm and trully see if they're exceptional playing anything else.

also having side member is always something that you want in a sport or e-sport, it makes your team stronger and less predictable.

#3899716 Has the skill floor/cap changed with each expansion

Posted by dionim on 14 June 2013 - 11:34 AM

imo what makes wotlk looks more skilled is the haste, like back in wrath you had the same 100 - 0 in couple seconds, but as you had 2x faster globals/casts, you could do more things about it.

For example: I played mage back in s8 on the TR, now im playing mage again, the first days i did played my mage, i have died countless time without blocking because of GCD, (because i was trying to sheep/nova/deep/use defensive habillitys when im dying) now i learned that when im dying(when is a almost sure death) im most of time doing close to nothing just waiting to block.

i think is the same for every caster, also the game gave you the option to not cast for some classes, but when you do want to cast, its so slowww that anyone could not get juked if they had good MS

i think theres some mechanics that got easier, and theres another ones that became harder or got introduce, but overall the true skill of arena (comunication and sinergy) is still the same if not higher.

just feels like you cant do stuff in arena because back in s8 you had so much haste, that in fact you could do alot more

obs. i think meeles got easier to play, was really fucking hard playing meele in wrath, due to positioning, casts being to fast to kick, and the lack of mobility in general

#3898822 PvP and 5.4 PTR testing

Posted by dionim on 12 June 2013 - 05:47 PM

to be honest, i dont play this game for the competitive part, i play to have fun, i dont give a shit if the game is unbalanced, the only care i have is if im having fun or not, maybe the ptr can give me alot of fun, but as personal experience testing stuff is 99,9% frustating, so i can tell you, if they trust people to test their stuff, they are the most retard company that i have ever seen, ofc there can be Open beta PTR, but at this point (even before releasing a patch notes) a good company would have tested their game alot before opening it to the public, specially because normal people that test stuff and dont like it are more susceptible to stop playing live.

#3897979 Finding partners with no achievements

Posted by dionim on 11 June 2013 - 01:10 PM

back in bc, it was like: duel all day in durotar and find your teammates and work your way up

this, and 3 more reasons

1 - Ego, most people think a r1 player is shit because another r1 player said so when they're flamming each other (so the guy put on his mind that hes better than that r1 player) and because people think someone is high rated only because of FOTM (half true hehe)

2 - Lack of information, people used to use armory / AJ and talked more about the game with other people, so when i play with/or against someone good, i used to tell this to my friends, and i also used to check ladder / AJ more frequently

3 - Lack of interest, i dont see much people trying to achieve something in this game anymore, of course everyone play to win, but they also dont care when losing, and when you play with "famous" people, they tend to get mad and blame the unknown guy for every loss

#3896196 How to achieve dem high ratings?

Posted by dionim on 07 June 2013 - 04:33 PM

Mind game (antecipation), sinergy, inteligence pretty much, like you said everyone has binds macros and press the buttons fast, but is the intelligence that makes you diferent than other people, really tiny details, most of times on the defensive part of the game!

The secret is that really good people (r1 and stuff) are hard to beat you can outdamage then pretty easy, but somehow they dont die, thats the key of wow, try to be perfect at defense, never risk a loss only to have a chance of winning.
