Just because something is illegal doesnt mean that you dont have to inform/protect yourself from it.

What about that undertage girl you slept with, oh you didnt ask her, her age... its ok then.
I guess you have no alarm system on your house/car as you would just rather get burgled?
Why dont you just leave your money outside in the open while your at it.
I guess you dont believe in a firewall/virus protection either?

Do you understand yet why people have to protect themselves from ddos attack?

I dont really understand how you have made it this far in life with your logic.

just my 2 cents

I use both firewall and several different types of antivirus/malware/spyware. This however is besides the point. What i'm saying in my post is that you don't leave your house with the expactations of getting robbed or a victim og violence therefore you don't have barbed wire and a mote at your house and you don't have a gun with you everywhere you go. Having to do more than the usual protection and what you would expect everyone to have is where things are taking a wrong turn. I don't have the time nor the energy to elaborate further so i'll leave it at this.

I've seen alot of accusing against the parcipitants saying they are not prepared aand that it's their own fault.

STOP IT RIGHT THERE!

Being a victim of illegal actions should not be an expectation. This is the wrong way to look at it. I play a game and i don't expect people to break the law to "harm" me. Sure you can do something to make it less likely, but changing your ip adress every time you want to play a simple video game because you are afraid is simply not a proper long term solution. I would personally rather quit WoW, a game I've been playing since 2005, than go about such actions to protect myself against illegality. I live in a civilised world, where human decency is expected at some level.

just my 2 cents

"in the end it doesn't even matter"

we all play to have fun or earn money. If playing certain setups lets you do that even though other people dislike it, why should their opinion matter?

like playing dk in season 5. you can't really blame the ones that did it for getting gladiator. The rest of us could have just rerolled as well.
