#1846856 MLS vs WLD

Posted by Tfgreenacre on 15 February 2010 - 10:19 PM

A pretty good WLD and a druid who gets banished is kind of contradictory. OCCASIONALLY, theres just too much going on and you get put into a banish, but if a druid got put into 10 seconds of banish there is no chance he is over 1800. Not a bad strategy suggestion but the banish aspect is in no way a reliable or viable part of any strat

Some MLS teams we have faced as WLD try using a succu at start, and when they go for a banish on druid and he switches out they insta-seduce him. Succubus are easy to kill, but just throwing the idea out there really.

#1790236 [Druid/Paladin/Warrior] How to <?

Posted by Tfgreenacre on 31 January 2010 - 04:18 PM

It's a very easy comp to play from a warrior PoV, and very strong. As you said, just keep up MS on your target, UA where possible, try and focus intercept / charge cc on your paladin, because your in a bad spot where your paladin starts eating cc chains, just standard cleave play really..

I played this in S7 to Gladiator with only 2 nights of games, having never played the comp before. A lot of games you can literally gib someone when the gates open, but also has amazing outlast / out-mana power. It has the potential to beat basically everything except a very good RMP / wizard cleave. But even against good RMP's a little bit of warrior OPness and RNG can give you a victory ofc :).

Anyway GL with it.

EDIT: if you need any specific tactics against mathups feel free to PM me, but i'm sure there are beter people to seek advice from regarding this setup :)

#1738618 3v3 Cruelty EU

man i hope some teams play nonstop today and end up kicking some teams out of gladiator range . I was checking the bg9 forums and it seems a few teams who were supposedly getting glad but were on the edge of the cutoff got eventually kicked out of the gladiator range by some teams that rushed to the very last moment and made it past the previous cutoff.

This thread has seen you slowly go from the innocent guy worrying if he'll get his first Glad or not, to hating everyone who is below you in rating, pretty funny to read :). Where is the love?

#1725959 [Warlock] landing casts/fears on pillar humping healers

Posted by Tfgreenacre on 17 January 2010 - 03:42 AM

Yeah don't chase, try and pull their DPS towards your own pillar, or the pillar ur paladin is camped at, this will enable you to burst the dps forcing their healer to come out, against most healers you can get a fear on them pretty quick (except druids) using glyphed shadowflame or howl of terror, also don't forget curse of exhaustion!
