i never lose to hunter druid as lock druid. u just dot the shit out of everything, including pet.  always high dampening games and eventually druid goes oom or can't keep up the pressure. just have to be careful against BM hunters with dropping pet below 35%. then u have to kill it or it will rape ur ass with crows and bw up

yeah i lied. only gained about 400 rating since patch. but the video really gives a false idea about how good it is. skirmish against people in full blues that are 800 mmr... any full geared player can global a 200k hp druid that doesn't pop a single defensive or heal =)

get a hunter or a mage to solo teams.  i went to 1800 with greens on my second lock just putting up portal and spamming cc while my mage or hunter 2 shot something. darksoul + trinkets and  spread dots on everything and LOS + fear all game.  vs healer dps will be harder but tons of retards at that rating that will try to focus you and ignore your partner. play around that with gateway and soulburn your teleport for freedom +sprint :P and constantly try to reset while everything is on dr and eat up.

why are people only comparing procs?

if you go shado pan + relic for example you have 1030 int + 11xx( dont know exact number so lets round it down to 1100) passive int

thats Atleast 2130 passive int vs 3060 pvp power. and everyone and his dog knows that 1 int = +-3 pvp power in budget + ignoring the passive crit that int gives you.

so the pve trinkets would be 6390 pvp power worth of damage. meaning more than 2x as good for the passive bonuses alone.

and THAT is the reason why people go pve trinkets not because of the damn procs -_-

maybe they should make readyness dispel CC instead of bw. makes them waste alot of major cooldowns if they want to break CC. that will also make it so that i dont have to wait till they pop TBW to start CCing a hunter or else you are stuck with half dr'ed cc after they pop their cds..

how to increase arena participation:

add a daily quest that gives 25 conquest points if you win an arena game and stacks beyond the 1800 arena cap for low rated arena players(like rbg). This way every day people are drawn into arenas and it motivates them to play beyond their low cap to get a small extra.

add a guild challenge for 3v3 and 5v5 . for every arena you Do (not win, if you leave or dc you get nothing.) , guild gets 150g gold  for a win in 3v3 and 250 gold per win in 5v5. both can be completed maximum 5 times/week. it's only fair for pvpers to get some gold to repair their stuff and buy enchants/gems. .. And pve guilds might hop into arena just to get their extra gold for raiding.

these are 2 really simple small things to add and alot of people will jump on it. it's a system that rewards even low skilled people for participation. if a lot of low skilled people join the ladder, the people that would have quit because the game is too hard will finally have opponents that match their skill level.

another option would be merging every battlegroup but use a division based system for arena. like once you reach x rating you can choose to advance to a higher division with better cosmetic rewards and better opponents or choose to stay if you aren't confident enough to advance yet. and if the que times are >5 minutes the system will automaticaly match you with a team in a lower/higher division.

divisions would be kinda like the achievements now : 0-1000/1000-1550/1550-1750/1750-2000/ 2000-2200/ 2200-2400/ 2400-2700/2700+

if you remake a team you start at the lowest possible rating in your division up to a maximum of 2200 based on the lowest rated member in the team ( like if you disband a 2350 rated team , you would restart at 2200 but if you disband a 2.7k team you would also restart at 2200, if you disband a 2057 team, u restart at 2k etc...),

If you are innactive for x time ( half a season?) you will get dropped back to the lowest division so you have time to catch up gearwise and giving you the chance to adapt to the new mechanics  that you might have missed.

merging battlegroups would also remove wintraders because in 1 big battlegroup there should be players playing at every hour. would also stop people trying to wintrade for the gold rewards.
obviously these examples still have flaws but i'm no  game designer ;) just want to share the idea
