I got ninja'd and made a ticket as well. They said it's supposed to be like Garubashi Arena and everyone's supposed to fight over it.

It's kind of obvious that it's only intended for the winner but Blizzard is retarded like always. GM even said he went to the higher ups for this information...

For 2h Frost: PvE sims have multistrike as the top secondary stat but I'm not sold on it in PvP.

There was a tweet a while back that said that 30% multistrike would be 30% chance to trigger in PvP and two 15% chances to proc in PvE. This was done to keep them similar in value while toning down burst from multistrike in PvP.

But it was easy enough to look at damage meters on my rogue in 6.0 (rogue has a passive 5% multistrike buff) and see that less % of my damage was coming from multistrikes in PvP than in PvE content. I also thought it was odd that they would list the PvP proc chance on the character tab. I'm pretty sure it does not work like the tweet said it should and is terrible in PvP.

The tweet is decently old, but I couldn't find anything that said otherwise. I'll probably do some testing at 100 when I have more multistrike stat because it should be really good if it does work like the blue claimed it to.


Other than that versatility looks to be the best, despite reading a few posts claiming that it's terrible. It's apparently second in PvE and also gives reduced damage.

Just looking at stuff on wowhead it looks like glyph of roots and the new 4 piece will work insanely well together? A little haste can get you ~1 second cast roots that gives you a starsurge charge when it breaks should be pretty powerful opposed to relying on rng from dots.
