I thought that the 2p t10 would be what pushed this spec over the line, but i was doing some Bgs with a warrior friend who plays both arms and prot and dueled him between games and told him to pop his Cds and see how hard he could hit me with 965 resil.

turns out it was 13k and hes not using the 2p, in fact he didnt even disarm me for that extra bonus.

I havn't even seen a 13k hit with berserking/horns/battle shout on a pve geared mage in a battle ground ..

prot is op'd and I'm not advocating it but lets be realistic rofl - that's an absolutely absurd claim and makes you look stupid

the 1.5 second charge stun isn't on d.r. because that was blizzards fix to the lag factor when you charge somebody whos running away from you and stop like 6 yards away from them because they just kept running w/ stun d.r.

Anyone else find the irony in a rogue saying this?

I find the irony in this whole thread

Prot warriors in 3v3 I believe is the biggest issue with them. With all of their stupid stuns, spell reflects and interrupts they can pretty much lock down any caster they decide to tunnel. Along with the good amount of damage they can do they are terrors and they basically turn the fight into a 2v3 battle making it terribly unfair. Blizz just needs to remove or reduce the amount of stuns/interrupts and nerf the AoE spell reflect so it can actually be a fair fight rather than have your caster only be a meat shield for the whole fight.

rmp has worked around the principle of locking 1 or 2 people down for years -affectively making it a 3 on 2 or even 3 on 1.

Even though I think prot warriors are overpowered in 2 group makeups ( w/h/p or w/w/p ), you gotta figure how overpowered other comps have been in the past and still are ( warlock/ele/ hpal anybody ? ).

2 piece tier 10 is over the top - shockwave on a 17 second cool down is over the top - making the group spell reflect have a 15 or even 10 yard range instead of 20 might even be plausible but if you tweak just a few things here and there ( taking away the root remove from their charge/intercept/intervene etc ) and you would make the spec completely worthless in pvp.

They're all good, you can't even doubt that. But there's not much room to argue that comp isn't a big factor in where they are, either.

Comp is almost always a big factor for number 1 spot - some people grind it out and get lucky streaks or que aim teams they know they can beat but that statement is just a given
