Numbers don't always mean alot, but for melee classes they mean alot for your burst, we simply aren't putting out the kind of burst other classes currently are.

Speaking strictly of attack abilities i've seen against my character (4k resil), i've seen 26k howling blasts, 25k obliterates, 26k ambushes, 24k backstabs...i've seen ferals ferocious bite in arena for 30-40k on cloth, we just do not see high burst numbers like we did, and i'm fine with that but we need to be compensated in other ways.  If we can't put up the same kind of burst damage as the other melee, should we not have some utility or mobility added so we're not sub par in comparison to the others?

#3410397 rant: blizzard doesnt give a shit about warriors

Posted Powerslave on 03 August 2011 - 01:23 AM

...I'll explain myself. I don't mean it in the way that warriors are bad in pvp right now, I just don't think blizzard gives enough of a shit about how the warrior gameplay.

We've all seen how the class has been simplified, and simplified and simplified...because the pvp playstyle is kind of objective (not really but for the sake of argument) I'll use pve to illustrate a point. In pve, warrior dps rotation  (fury is the viable pve spec atm) lasts 6 fucking seconds and involves only bt, rb, cs and using hs on the side. Not a lot of classes' rotations are completely static (and those who are use more buttons than 4) but it seems we got a first here as well. Stances have become almost pointless. We have no way to control a fight in either pvp or pve. On my shaman I have the option of knocking people down a hill, purging, hexing etc. The warrior really feels like a big creep that charges and uses a couple of skills in the same way every time.

Moonkins got that lunar energy shit in wrath and blizzard took the time to implement a super nice ui for it and such, same  thing with totems. However, non prot warriors to this day still cannot use an iconic ability ( spell reflection) unless they have a macro (which we know is not very simple for the casual warrior player) or they open the bags and equip their shield (lol). Where's the UI improvement for spell reflection, which is in dire need WAY more than moonkin resource and totems ever were?

Then we get to my next point, why was spell reflection cd increased so much to begin with ? What's the reasoning ? Why did it go live? To this day I haven't met a single person (who's not a complete idiot) who thinks there was any sense behind that change. Everyone told them on the forums, why was the community ignored? Why was colossus changed to a different value in pvp and pve instead of getting our issues fixed with actual thoughtful changes, just like it happens with every other class? Why did blizzard put their policy aside and did a lazy fix? Who is responsible for the changes made in the warrior class and why is there a different philosophy for us? Why is our mastery so fucking boring?

Why did arms damage get nerfed (not pvp damage, overall damage) when it wasn't that high in the first place?

The only section of the game that I believe we're getting looked at the same with other classes (or more) is our armor sets.

Tl;dr : we still need ui improvements for spell reflection, we always get half assed lazy fixes, our pve rotation is 3 buttons rotating over 6 seconds, i am angry

Fuck all of you faggots laughing at the man, he actually treated the game like a well-balanced adult human being should.  He enjoyed it.  He didn't talk shit to anybody, ever - and while he wasn't the best, he wasn't so fucking delusional that he had to pawn off every failure he ever had on other people.

Grow up you fucking children.

yes, and that's stupid. if this was true TSG wouldnt be the #1 comp, you don't realise this cause you're biased as fuck and probably pretty mad for failing at the comp.

TSG to 2700 can be done with a headless chicken, nevertheless when it comes to playing against competent wizard teams, it's far from a #1 comp.

Did I say wizardcleaves 70-80% of the time? I said 70-80% soft- or hardcounters. RMPs, WMP(al), FMP, dkmp, phdk counter too.

Im just gonna put this out as I play TSG. Around 70-80% of the teams we face are soft-or hardcounters. Yet we still beat most of them. Why? The amount of teamplay I can see from the opponents has gone lower than ever in my arena history (and I even played in S1). We pick the healer as our target, not because its the best tactic but because his two caster-retard friends are not coordinating enough to keep him alive. Ive played againts shit load of teams with multiple different TSGs, even the best ones. What separated the best ones from the random 2.7-2.8k casterscleaveheroes was that the healer was impossible to kill.

Random 2.8k castercleaveheroes probably dont notice the difference between a 2.5k TSG or 2.8k TSG killing their healer, as it simply shouldnt even be possible.

#3309678 EU-Blue: Abusing MMR bug will lead to disqualification

Posted Pehbak on 18 June 2011 - 12:36 AM

I would really like to know the cut off line as to what is considered MMR boosting. There are a lot of people that play with low MMR people just for points, they might be friends, or it just happened to be that way. Not that I support it, I just don't see how they can ban someone for playing with 800k mmrs over the guy playing with his friends at 1200 mmrs...

Or to question who did it just a little to gain themselves a boost from 2100 MMR to 2700 mmr, things like this go unnoticed.

#3295706 MMR Exploiting

Posted Maldazzar on 11 June 2011 - 09:15 PM

this is honestly the dumbest thing to whine about-

if you beat mmr exploiting teams (which you should, most of them are horrible), you gain a ridiculous amount of rating
if you lose to them, you lose nothing

the vast majority of them aren't even good enough to get to gladiator range before their 3700 mmr tanks to 2200, forget about r1

complain about the hundreds of gladiator sell teams if you want to complain about something
