Birmans are affectionate, gentle, and faithful companions with an air of dignity that seems to invite adoration by their human companions. As former temple cats, Birmans seem to have become accustomed to adoration. They are very intelligent and affectionate, according to fanciers, and very people-oriented. They will generally greet visitors with curiosity rather than fear.
Because of their gentle temperaments, Birmans are easy to handle, care for, and show, and they make ideal pets for anyone who wants quiet companions that will offer love and affection in return for just a little well-deserved worship.
lol yeah right, that faggot won't ever shut the fuck up I swear
Messi certainly wasn't vintage Messi in this tournament, but he will never really be that way with Argentina.
Yeah well I think that's the main problem people have with him getting the award. We all know what he's capable of at Barcelona, he's shown it for years. Upon reaching such a high level of play, he inevitably gets compared to Maradona, who actually carried his club and his country, so people expect Messi to do just that if he truly is Maradona's heir. Now all we'll remember of his WC is losing in the final (not so bad), him walking for most of the games (not so good), and controversially getting awarded Player of the tournament. I feel this WC is, all things considered, a big failure for him. He missed his chance and didn't shine enough in an Argentina team that hobbled along the whole WC and didn't show much as a whole.
Next time he'll be 31 and once again have fucking garbage teammates here and there. If he doesn't win a WC as a player he'll never reach legendary status for Argentine people, which I think would be sad considering how fucking good he is
i think others couldve and probably shouldve won the award but its not THAT surprising messi won it. people wanna be overly sensational about it just because it's him. so much bias, good or bad, in this thread lol
i think people are overly sensational about it because it reeks of corruption of FIFA once again, with Adidas being their sponsor and Messi's sponsor. He shouldn't have been awarded the golden boot, he shouldn't have received the prize RIGHT before Argentines get their medal. Maradona was right, it's just marketing and this whole individualistic approach to rewards goes against the core values of football
