though some really rancid types of 'spice' could do this - like the ones we have in russia - but you'd have to go really out of your way to get them. i mean, they're not even 'synthetic weed' (cannabinoids) at this point, just random mixture of shit that is potentially even lethal. im not sure you can even get it outside of 3rd world countries such as mine, 2hardcore4u

The state in which priests are at the moment is crucial.
Many many suggestions were given across the forums and twitter etc.
Nothing had been done till now, nothing have been written. I don't really know if blizzard is even aware of the current state of disc and holy in pvp.
I would very much appreciate a feedback to this two specs from blizzard itself.
Saving grace wasn't even a buff. It was a change. A change wich does absolutely nothing for the problems priests are facing right now.
To remember: Priests are lacking in this areas:
- offensive dmg
- shield being purged by literally every comp (too much value of this buff when it's so easy purged)
- glyphs are not a real choice (MD and death not baseline wtf?)
- priest cc is a big joke. Psychic Scream is one of the hardest to land cc's (8m range) and many classes have fearbreakers aka lichborn tremor usw. Silence on a 2 second duration is more of an interrupt than anything else. Ged rid of it and buff scream.
- very little instant cast heals (divine star heals for nothing) with no kiting tools. So every cast can be interrupted of a melee with basically 100% uptime on priest.
- buggy talents: dominate mind has to be removed or fixed in my opinion. it's definetly not a choice when u have to calculate dc's in it's value.
- fake casting is not rewarding enough because there are so many other ways to prevent casts.. gouge stuns deathgrip etc. and we have no heal which heals us during fake casting (renew, pom..)
Not sure if unpopular opinions or just vane trolling.
3-4 edits later: removed wall of text to stay on topic, will recycle some tldr for threads directly requiring insight into 'correct' resource-allocation and non-homogeneity.
1.) Better PvP means putting people on equal footing for pvp based on skill developed through actual pvp at the cost of all else. I want to beat people because hour for hour I learned how to pvp faster, grinded my way up an almost unreachable skillcap, and improved my ratings because of raw ability, learning, coordination, etc. Why should I lose to (or be overpowered by) someone who simply has more hours to grind gear? Its metagame rubbish just like swapping classes when you can't beat people on equal footing. PvE gear is about as dumb as pay2win, except its basically a time2win that isn't time in the arena. While its a good model for MMORPG its a horrible model for any serious pvp game, (which WoW isn't, but this site/community is about pushing better pvp quality and getting WoW more pvp/arena oriented).
2.) Hybrid and dps healing got mucked somewhere back when they streamlined everything into cc+dmg. Many reasons for why some hybrid offhealing is necessary. Mostly because they trade less control and other utility, and to keep a somewhat multi-dimensional 'class select' meta. For w/e its worth (in the mess that is WoD), spriest healing is at a reasonable level. Other then -maybe- saving someone from an RNG execute, you actually have to free cast for 20seconds (approx number @10k per 1.5s) to somewhat top something. Thats a long and reasonable uptime that ofc punishes teams that let you reset like that. Spriest is most trained target meaning this entire side of his utility is pmuch rendered useless in everything but godcomp (which is op for mage/rdruid reasons that translate to spriest offhealing actually being possible). Spriests trade this so-called offhealing for all kinds of other caster utility like spam control, resets, hp of locks/mages.
3.) Agree that mages should be more like glass canons (or maybe glass controllers).
I'm not really in a position to comment about mages in great detail, except that iceblock is quintessential to their class and comps. Its the major defensive cooldown which creates that pivot point in matches, ensuring swaps and counterplay. If you can't buy those reasons, consider that it should be left in to encourage less 1-target riding.

I don't think PvE gear should overshadow pvp gear. I think they should add more diversity to pvp gear, like being able to buy pvp gear that sacrifices defense, and in return gives higher offense. To me it's a lot more fun when people run around in different gear.
I agree shadow priest healing is how all hybrid healing should be.
Offenders like enhancement shamans randomly throwing an instant 60k+ healing surge at no cost, except it being a gcd that isn't spent purging, is just disgusting.
Yes, mages would be fucked without ice block, and I don't think they should remove it.
So many specs right now are just disgusting to look at. Why are mages basically immune to stuns, while not taking any dmg from anything I do, when backed by a druid? Before you say "it's just the druid", it's not, it's the 2 classes together.
The game is so ridiculously comp based right now it's sickening. Some games I can jump around doing jack shit for 10minutes, then randomly win because "reasons". Other games are almost completely impossible to win, unless my opponent goes afk for 2 minutes in the middle of the game.
At the moment I honestly can barely tell the difference between a 2.4k rated RMD and a 2.9k rated RMD. I can be farming a 2.9k rated RMD 7-0, and then 1 hour later lose to 2.4k rated RMDs while not feeling any noticable difference in what I'm doing. Everything is unpeelable and instant.
Against every single mage+druid, I feel like I might as well go afk for the first 10 minutes, because there is no way that I can possibly hope to kill them before that. They tank my dmg, they tank my cc - but my cc doesn't last long enough to have any effect on them.
Or I just get cc'd forever, which I cannot do anything to stop. I lock 1 school, they cast a 2nd school of cc, I lock the 2nd school (because warlocks have 2 seperate cd Spell Locks, why??), and I get cc'd by the druid.
I thought they were supposed to reduce the CC in WoD? but it seems like mage/druid kept all their cc, while everyone else lost half of their arsenal.
I still love playing the game, but too many times I'm just left to think what a laughable state the game is in - where I can play unfathomably shit, and still somehow, sometimes that is better play than my opponent? Pathetic.

Disc priests are utter shit right now. The only good thing is penance thru pillar. Death glyph require u to face people and 30 yard range and share cd with holy fire is utter bullshit. Shield get spam purged on cd. Die thru PS on the regular. If 2x saving grace dont top someone ur fucked for 8s cause ur def not topping ppl with that flash heal -20% healing.
oh yea 6s fear 45s cd + 2s silence 45s cd = 8s cc 45s cd, so basically its old fear with a 45s cd
priest fear isnt even a reliable cc cause have the time ur sitting in 8s + 4s + 1s + immune traps
- doesn't have as much sustain damage as others (melees, hunters, lock).. my hunter's serpent sting tick harder than vt/swp
- no mana on VT
- no dps cooldown other than PI
- doesn't have as much burst as others (melees, mages, bm during crows/bestial wrath)
- long as fuck 45s cd CC
- both damage and CC are tied to shadow orbs, which have only mindblasting on CD as a source of generation. You kind of have to mb on the dot every cd or else you simply fall behind on orbs
- spending the global to press PW:S is just negating the damage of 1 global from melees (20-30k dmg)
- self healing is trash (12k flash of light lol?), and no mobility whatsoever vs people who are not trash enough to get juked by guise/feathers
- no mitigation (lmao shadowform and fade glyph)
- the only dps class without a slow (no mindflay does not count)
