god the random 2200 hunters that play thug cleave and just bestial wrath out of gouges make me cringe
having more than 1 pvp trinket is a broken mechanic imo, i'm all for that marksmen shit.. maybe los'ng a hunter will actually do something... instead of just getting fucked by a 12 year old mashing his pet abilities
you are an inspiration to the wow community if people stop playing BM you should actually get your own holiday
I'm proposing all you BM bros out there give MM a proper shot come 5.3.
Heres my thoughts about MM in 5.3
With the addition of Binding shot, CC capabilities will be sick. (For example throwing binding shot on the healer of a team that are spam standing on top of each other, then launching an explosive on of all of them, splitting them and stunning him for 3 seconds making an easy trap)
10% AP Buff on hawk is obviously sick.
With the removal of blink strike, BM's burst will be A LOT lower, (As it was the main burst ability)
No more intimidation for BM, and shale spider web stun being a much longer CD.
Ok so, ill talk quickly about my gearing. And my thoughts. I havnt done any of the maths to this, so dont know if what im doing is the optimum.
Crit is easily the best start for MM. By SO much. Crit is burst. Burst is everything.
Im Reforging every piece of gear to crit where possible, with the highest stat available to reforge to it.
Last seasons 2/2 upgraded Crit ring a long with this seasons crit ring.
Crit Medallion trinket
Im running Agility reds, Agility/PvP power in blues, and Agility/Crit yellows.
The result of all this is 24.50% Crit unbuffed.
I think that hunters have forgotten how to play, and everytime i see a BM hunter they are always standing literally ontop of the enemy teams faces like, lol im bm i dun give a fuck cuz i got bw.
A lot of people have adopted this play style and in result end up complaining when they die in one deep freeze etc, when in fact its because they are using something dumb like tenacity pet (No sac, or wasting pet sac for unjustified times) or just running into mongo positions where every other class would die the same way.
Now, im going to tell you all now, MM does more consistent damage than BM and arguably better burst (If we are talking theoretically and line up aimed procs on targets with >80% health etc).
For example, playing thug. You blind *random class* they trinket. tell your rogue you want to set up for a swap, just tunnel some steadies into anyone, get a proc and call for the swap. At the moment you can Aimed>Chimera>Blink strike. (Aimed will be 100% crit chance). Then throw in arcanes/kill shot if not dead, no class can survive this without a trinket.
