Holinka mentioned it before, he's just a person of many that make pvp decisions (or lack there of). Esentially he's just the scape goat ppl can point at while the other ppl "work" and acts as their personal relations etc. This system/change may have been a godsend if implimented correctly, say at the beginning of the season or reset of all ratings/mmrs then putting it in. It is an issue with ppls mmr being alot lower then their CR and still getting rating. This system actually closely resembles what we had a long time ago. I recall being at rank 1 or close to rank 1 rating and if the team was so much lower then you even after 45min que they'd give you 0 points. which Im somewhat ok with as you shouldnt get rank 1 because you fought a bunch of 1200 or 2000 teams which is what it would equate to now. But we knew that out the gate because thats how it was. You had to win a high % of your games to get high on the ladders which is also fine. having a 40% or even close to that win ratio shouldn't put you crazy high etc as what was happening with some ppl. I get it i play with friends that arnt the greatest and my cr/mmr suffers but thats the outcome of a game that has a neverending PR etc. This system has promise just needs some tweaking perhaps and should NEVER have been implemented midseason without a full reset for the above reasons of ppl that will just sit because they have the shittiest of MMRs after climbling and lose half their games but still end up not to far off on where they were because blizzard? I play arenas for the challenge and enjoyin the time with somewhat strangers an gettin fresh on bitches. I do understand the reward aspect but as many know titles having a significant meaning have gone out the window. Cheers for them tryin to come up with a POSSIBLE maybe working ladder system but their execution leaves me a "fk it, is this real life" type of way. Also lol about holinka who knows maybe there being like, "well i think theres a bug, hey guys can you fix this? no? fk it lets just say its the new system lol ima go dive into my scourge mcduck style vault and pull out some 1000 dollar bills out these fiine ass role playing night elf chicks purple boobs"
get 2 weapons when you can but for now the disarm is more important vs the teams that do have them. Eventually you'll have 2 different weapons that can be interchanged depending on comp or even during if your hardcore!
yeah lee shit, when u push in on x target and your healers pushed back behind a pillar you need to be able to put your head through the computer to see in the other direction that he got off a scatter and that instant be prepared to have the ability to be in range with your ninja reflexes and drop a grounding totem the same second a trap is released so you can have it trigger with arming time on ur grounding not before not later. GET SOME AWARENESS
dont forget that tfb was nerfed. your attempt at a point is null and void. Someone beat an ele with a nerf bat already. 90+% of the comps i fought after returning had a ele sham. the other 10% had rets keyboard turning wing poppin ding bats.
my point is ye ele is stupid but its no excuse for multi glad players like urself to lose to 2.2k players and blaming it on game mechanics. I mean just cuz phd and jungle is fucking stupid doesnt mean u lose to 2.2k teams.. right?
i'll take either of those teams vs a random ele caster cleave any day of the week. gettin randomly dropped at any point due to game mechanics. Ima blame it on game mechanics. edit: ele couldn't ground a trap to save his life but he can click his pew pews to victory. I played when hunters and warriors were "OP" an ppl bring that up but notice those things were nerfed and were far more manageable aka stampede or reck. someone get the nerf bat an beat some shams with it already
100% agree hunters need some tuning and slight nerfing. As a muticlasser (main behind a hunter oh yeee) Its obv something needs to change. What I dont agree with are these lists people are making. Sure maybe pick out a few of the pack but some of you are like we need to do 7 nerfs to put BM in the ground thats a bit much. BM has become lackluster as far as variety of playstyle due to them changing blinkstrike. These bursts people are mentioning aren't coming from the hunter. Hunters have GREAT sustained damage and in a short game hunters will come out ontop of those meters since we have no buildup time on damage ie:stampede but longer games hunters arn't always in the top of the heat as far as damage. Some need to take a moment pull out some meters and bring some data into this discussion. Its true that hunters have 3x trinkets but once you make it past the trade chat bracket not all use readiness instantly to just break CC as having that 2nd deter is crucial vs spellcleaves(lol ele) or other melee cleaves. to say hunters dont sit in CC is a bit much. I've played MM and i think its great almost as good as BM but that second trinket or third trinket is what wins it all. with 8 second dispells. Hunters sit cc It happens.
---Possible changes. Slight nerf to the damage coef (for pvp only) on blinkstrike. considering our pet is our main damage(tear) there shouldn't be a nerf to its uptime. it no longer blinks when cced by roots etc so not sure what more of a nerf your asking for exactly that wouldnt just be trolling
---Possible stampede change would be having to build up like focused fire before you could use it. nerf to their opening lol stampede burst
----give BM hunters more abilities an take some damage away from the pet being sole damage thus there is an actual diff between terrible hunters and somewhat decent hunters that do some theorycrafting to find best rotations

Mages CC is so bad atm alot of guys started just going tempest and lance glyph cause no polys ever stuck.. have u ever tried to land a poly VS any hunter/melee comp. tack a shaman healer on that and literally even tryna cast poly is a waste most of the time.

plz tell me how a hunter's 24 second 3 second silence is hindering your ability to cast a no cd ability.that most hunter's wont use on you over a healer or a spriest(md) and our 1minute intimidation stun(that will be gone 5.3). If you can't cast a poly that sounds like a personal problem and if your breaking your own poly or your teamates... I'd like to know whats stopping these poly morphs from sticking. and I assumed disorient because we have a 4 second disorient ability not a stun and for you to forget about that ability, what this entire thread is about (scatter) then thats on you I didnt even call you out on that just because I didnt think you thought hunter's had a 4 second stun.

no, you know whats easy to stop? a 30 second cd 1 attempt ability. u know what happens when they stop a poly cast? RECAST the poly. Here's a macro. /cast polymorph there isnt 1 hunter that wouldn't mind keeping the CD on trap (28 sec) and making it a "freezing arrow" cast like say aimed shot or power shot. if you dont think being able to spam polys isn't more annoying then our super awesome instant trap you's a derp. you know whats unavoidable? pom poly. deep poly etc. imagine having to pom poly or deep poly every single one of your polymorphs. Thats what hunters do every single trap. we dont have the option to fling a trap without any prior cc to land it. gtfo
