I don't why people call our class OP, people can't even justify the means for what makes that statement true.
Sure our damage is high, but it's all damage that is easily preventable and builds up over time... not something that just comes out of thin air. Even then, when we do ramp it up it is so easy to prevent a DK from even reaching your target that it doesn't even matter. Sure we can grip targets to us but what does that mean for trying to stop casts or peeling for our Hunter (which pretty much every DK plays with right now) or Lock.
So many people coming from other classes bash on how op our damage is, but take a look at your class and tell us that you don't have something similar if not better then what we have. It's so stupid seeing 1750 Shaman's complain when they can Stormblast or get insane Lava Burst procs for boatloads of damage and one shot.
I'm glad our class isn't getting too much this patch and the IBF change is great. The AMZ nerf is pretty dumb seeing that it gets broken in a second just like AMS, but the class is still balanced. Regarding the amount of faceroll needed to play the class, notice how the people rerolling DK's aren't having as easy of a time as say other classes that are being rerolled to. Sure it's pretty easy to play at lower ratings but the skill floor of the class is high.
In terms of comps that we can run, there's a bunch of PHDK and a few Shadowcleave, but take those same comps and change them around a little and you get better ones just by removing the DK from it.We were pretty garbage last season but look at some of the people that got glad or even rank 1 in 3s. All in all, it's the player that has a big say in how strong a class is (if played to it's fullest potential).
Agree with everything, hunters over the top with pretty much everything. They just need to tone down the damage and increase CC to 45 secs or something specifically for BM. They said they gonna do some changes before 5.4 for PvP...guess will have to wait and see what changes exactly.
