but I can understand if someone doesn't want to be bothered when they log in to arena or just doesn't want to respond to Messages (20) on their AJ every morning.

this.

I've responded to every single PM back in the day, but right now I'm just too tired of getting 20 PMs asking the most simple stuff ( like should a shadowpriest ignore haste on his gear ? lolwat ), it has nothing to do with me being a douche or anything like that - it's just way too tiresome writing a wall of text explaining stuff you've already explained before.

Hence I'm in the process of making a RPS strat guide I'm going to post here on AJ, with complete explanations of everything. Also people who really seek my advice or any other good pvp'rs advice can simply just go on skill-capped.com and check everything out themselves.

Pretty sure most elitism is just a put on -- I can't imagine how pathetic someone's life must be if they actually take their WoW ratings as something meaningful.

But then again, that's duelist mentality.

I'm really tired of it, it sickens me.

High rated players who feel they're better than everybody else so they don't bother responding to low rated players asking for help on what to do. Do you realize how gratifying it is for someone to sincerely say thank you? It's a great feeling.

Even after the video I made, and bolding text, asking people that if they need any help, do not hesitate to PM me. And yet they're still scared. Or they have to add "please respond" in the PM. Or when they whisper me in game and tell me that they're really surprised I responded to them.

Just because your number is higher in an internet game, doesn't mean your a better person then they are. Please, if you get a little nubby asking for your help, just help them out and answer a few questions, it might mean the world to them.

Please don't continue this stereotype.

I play in bg it good but when play in arena it poor.

1.can u tell some trick about ur rotation after u charge and control ur rage?
2.and do you use Heroic Strike in ur rotation more?

sorry for my noob question and my bad english.

If I had PvE gear I'd use Satin because the damage is insane and you get a nice boost in Int to keep your mana up.

just to throw in some food for thought from someone who enjoys both sets (well, comp depending ^^) and hence isn't quite as biased (and someone that was bored enough to actually do the math on it...):

considering the extra sp you get from going mooncloth versus the extra crit you get from going satin, the actual "effective difference in terms of sp" (aka crit adjusted to sp values) is as low as 30 sp equivalent against a high-res target to 150ish against comparatively low resil. (50-100 on average resil'd targets)
hence your "overall average raw dmg output" really doesn't change too much with either set.

what it ultimately comes down to is merely that crit can (sometimes...) score you a kill in a relatively short cc window simply because you got rng-happy and happened to get an extra 2-5k in the same time. does this happen all the time? hell no. does this happen enough to keep you happy? chyeah.
mooncloth on the other hand gives you about 200 extra mp5 while casting (mind you, this is all assuming full wrathful) since you're now looking at meditation (100-130ish if you previously had mental agi) allowing you to actually keep dots up on more than 1 target, the "reliable" damage you put out goes up a bit, and you get to save 5-7 talent pts that you would otherwise be blowing on crit talents and can now use for stuff like imp. mb, which in itself may or may not already more than make up for the "sometimes lost rng damage"

bottom line remains that the actual difference in terms of number output is so freakishly small that its far from gamebreaking, and on higher resil targets barely even noticable. as such, the choice between mc and satin entirely comes down to playstyle and personal preference, since neither is actually "flat out better".

Either way satin wins for shatterplay imo simply because the comp isn't about outlasting, and crit increases your chances that much more of scoring a kill when you set up a cc train.  Otherwise you're just waiting for your opponents to fuck up or have poor positioning so you can score a kill in the absence of CC.

You don't need crit when you are cc chaining... and the last sentence makes no sense at all.

He was trying to convince me that satin was better somehow using our mirror matches as an example - he did not win any games against us in a mirror.

Who won the matches had nothing to do with it.  It was about the way you played and what that has to do with your argument of mooncloth vs. satin.

I was playing with 400+ ping, had no Dispersion glyph, and was running satin, and still was keeping up with you in mana until the very end when you guys got just enough to score a kill.  I never said "we raped you guys and I wear satin therefore satin > mooncloth".  My point was either it was either a) mooncloth not being that much better regenwise or b) you not being as mana-efficient as you could have been.
