In Topic: 6.1 Arms Warrior Guide

As it stands I still prefer sudden death over slam (loving the new procs per min design).
The real toss-up in my mind is Avatar vs. Bladestorm.
Bladestorm is great for breaking CCs and still putting out decent damage (especially if you got sweeping strikes up with 2+ targets), while Avatar offers something I felt made warriors weaker compared to other classes which is the ability to stack damage CDs and have controlled bursts as well as the chunky damage arms is known for. The combination feels very strong.
What are the thoughts of better players than I? When does an arms warrior need to take avatar and when does he need to take bladestorm?
For fury the answer is a bit more clear to me, Avatar + an already bursty single target spec is pretty much a no brainer.

BM hunter

This, I legit got blown away by a BM hunter in 3 seconds (90-100% to 0%).

That feel when I couldn't even find a partner to take advantage of this bug for free rating.
Such is the life of someone who PvP's on horde...

as a rep fisher, I'm surprised you wrote all of that knowing you wouldn't get much rep
so I gave you rep

Considering most of what he "wrote" looks like copy+paste from other posts it's not really that impressive.

In Topic: Arms 6.1: Crit vs Mastery

19 February 2015 - 10:36 PM

While I do think slam is going to be a VERY important part of how good warriors are gonna be in 6.1 I don't think it can top mastery.
Just thinking about all the games played against a hunter or mage where I was relying mostly on my MS to get damage in.
In those kinds of games where you're just getting kited to hell mastery is the clear winner, MS already has a 65-75% chance to crit after a charge so it doesn't benefit that much here.
That's my 2 cents anyways, but due to inflation it's probably only worth 0.00008 of a cent.
