Warrior LF Guild/People to Play With

03 May 2015 - 07:55 PM

Hello all,

I play an arms warrior, and am admittedly quite bad. I have tried several times to get serious about PVP since I started playing in WotLK, but could never find anyone to play with and have always quit WoW after a month or two of not finding anyone, then repeated the process.

I have been reading every post on AJ for years trying to learn the game, but only recently registered as a member of AJ. I am a law student and have a degree in biomedical engineering, so I am far from your average retarded WoW player; I have a brain, I just need practice.

I play on Kel'Thuzad, Alliance, and am looking for either a guild of people in a similar situation as myself to learn with, or just some unaffiliated players who want to learn with me.

Hit me up either on here, or in game: Studyaid - kel'thuzad.

Learning Other Classes

29 January 2015 - 09:37 PM

I played WoW until the end of WoTLK and then switched to MOBAs before recently returning to WoW.

In LoL, to be good at the game, you need to be able to play every class so that you know how to counter it.

Is this true to any extent in wow? Would I be better at my main class if I had a level 100 of each class, each of which I could play at least decently?

Thanks in advance.

Getting Trained as Resto - Help Please!

29 January 2015 - 06:11 PM

Hi all,

I have been playing for about a month after having quit since the end of WOTLK. I played a holy pally to about 1900 back then.

I am now playing a resto druid in WLD and TreeSG. I watch streams of other resto druids whenever I can, and have learned a lot from doing so.

However, I cannot seem to get out of the trash bracket.

The problem that I keep running into is one that I never see happen to the high ranked resto druids; I am continually focused. This leads me to believe that this is a low rating problem, and, thus, that there should be some way to counter it. I'm just not sure what that is.

If anyone can offer any advice, it would be greatly appreciated.
