People always say this, but why should those duelists that are really close to getting glad be at the same level as multi-rank1 players? That's the essence of what you're saying and I don't really agree with that.
And then on top of the boosts they have like 5+ of their own chars in rank1 range as well, taking even more spots away. It's pretty safe to say that 1 top player can hold something closer to 15 or 20 spots on the ladder, spots that could very well be the difference between glad or duelist for a lot of players.
because if you want to get better at anything in life you have to play or work with or against people who are better than you, thats how people improve at everything in life because you live and you learn.
How is playing against people at the same rating as you going to help you improve? thats the whole reason streaming is about because people get to watch and adopt the technicalities/plays of top players, hence making you better via that process
-> going to be totally honest, the only people that complain about boosting is people who are too bad at the game to achieve glad/r1 which they have been trying to for ages, so instead of addressing their gameplay
-> look for irrelevant factors such as "BUT THIS GUY IS BOOSTING SO WE SHOULD LOSE GG HE IS MULTI R1 RUINING THE GAME STOPPING ME GETTING X,Y,Z KILLING THE GAME"
-> ...when in actual fact you refuse to accept you're bad/not performing at a high level and instead of trying to take control and fix the mistakes that you will have inevitably made in said games resort to "it kills the game" XYZ.
-> also, IM CERTAIN if any of you who had the chance to make money out of a 'passtime/hobby' you would jump at the opportunity. Especially when there is a lot of money at stake for boosting on a video game.
-> personally when i started playing pvp for the first time, i loved playing against boosts, its a totally different game comparing 2k-2200 to 3k+ and the chance to play against the best players in the game as opposed to mediocre players and even being able to learn from these top players inadvertently makes you play a lot better.
disclaimer: obviously this is just considering boosting as a inconsistent income as opposed to a full time job
People, specially streamers, need to stop complaining about the 15% healing debuff.
This is one of the few seasons since WotLK that games are super fast and fun.
This 15% debuff is a good thing, without it, warlock and dampening teams just run people over.
There will never be a perfect balance where dampening teams and fast teams can co-exist. Let games be fast rather than 10min dampening fest.

Hpal have good healing only during wings. Outside of that, they have to spam their miserable casts which heal for nothing.
That's the main reason it's OP in comps like shatter (By the way, i don't fight any other hpal outside of shatter or mage/mk, all other hpal comps seems hopeless.), because the spamable and no cost/risk assist that a mage give you allow you to bypass this bad healing, and your cd is way more important/op (More trashbuff+playing with casters, so less vulnerable to cs+playing with mage+BoP is way more valuable). And the +10% spell power buff is a fucking huge buff compared to the rest.
As ww/dk, you don't have that, you don't have many buffs to protect your BoP that the mage will stole (It's like during Cataclysm, i win way more mage team by not using CD that the mage will use to kite my DK even more.), and the only assist you will have is not a spamable and easy one like sheep, they have to sacrifice their only way to create pressure just to protect you, and most of the time, it's useless. The death grip can be completly ignored by all the speed bonus CD/spell, a mage can IB a root because he's more tanky than everything.
I played with a DK for like 2 years, and BoP has never be a game-breaking CD for us (Only the time a mage full of necrotic strike stole it, and remove all the NS), even if he doesn't manage to purge it. So imagine with a spamable no cost dispel.
Of course, if you play a race "Who kills the healer first without looking of partners", the hpal will win. If you just purge everything, the "billions CD" will just flops instantly. The only CD which is not dispellable are wings, but it's worthless to try to outdps wings. (Maybe not after the -15% healing nerf).
And for disc jungle, no way a ww/dk can beat that as the same level. The hpal die way before the disc. It's arguable against RMP (RNG map, RNG dispel, RNG fear), but not jungle.
Many that get buffs deserves to get nerfed. And some that gets nerfed deserves to get buffed. Can you give it to them Holinka Baggins? Then do not be too eager to deal out buffs and nerfs in judgement. - Gondelf
