What can I say, I didn't start the MoP thing in this topic, your mophero ego got hurt so you always bring this hearsay about old players saying how good MoP was. I honestly wonder who these players are? I'm looking at the ladder now and I can see maybe a dozen oldies and quite some of them skipped MoP and played elsewhere. If MoP was good and Legion is shit, people could play it on AT right now, but noone does it.
you cant play on the "panda-wow AT" because you need to grind gear.
played 1 BG there but it is just pointless when you are two seasons behind in gear.
and yeah mop was cancer too (as many have stated already), but you had more options how you play and what comp you play (as many have stated already).
mop with 5 min dampening (like at bcon) would be legit I can imagine.
https://youtu.be/8Nu1JCnXxFM?t=54 tbc best addon jimjim don't hate. AT footage so people are not "skilled" if they can walk straight. (no idea how to embed I'm dumb)
https://youtu.be/8fXJHWJwX2E?t=369 those guys even made ret shaman viable don't know a single specc(!) that wasnt viable in 2s (maybe not fire, arcane, fury) - on the at/next-gen server at least.
I know you're prolly trolling, but it isn't a good thing since the %'s haven't changed afaik. it means that there's less arena participation than before, and the skill level will be lower due to this. that being said, I think the participation problem is partially to do with people playing less with their alts, since their alts didn't have full artifact traits / had low artifact knowledge, and we'll see a rise in alts in s2 which means more r1's/glads.
also expecting a rise in arena participation due to the r1 title...
I had three alts, not gonna play any of them anymore. all my mythic+ friends have quit the game (they also casually queued arena*). GL with a higher participation. 10 r1 title slots inc.
