this takes a few tries maybe, only good if you actually can't get into ashran. i did it on my first try but then couldn't do it for 5 tries and then did it again.

Was partially fixed. This used to work everytime because the timer was a static number, now it's a variable; hence why the 1/6 tries worked for you.

Now I want to start this "rant" with the fact that in the start of the season I actually believed that resto shaman is in a very good state right now. I truly still believe that the class has all the right mechanics and it can potentially be extremely strong if some other classes get toned down, BUT... right now I feel like I just want to delete my class and reroll and never look back.
I am honestly tired of being trained, being swapped on and dying instantly, cause the other team forced a trinket+spirit link, I am tired of just being nuked down while being unable to do anything.

Rogue+Mage, DK+Ret, DK+Warr, DK+Feral, Feral+Warr, Monk+DK, Ret+Hunter, Feral+Hunter, Rogue+DK, Rogue+Ret, Feral+Mage, Warrior+Mage, DK+Mage, Ret+Mage, DK+Lock , Monk+Lock,Ret+Lock, Feral+Lock, Rogue+Lock, Rogue+Spriest, Warr+ Spriest, DK+Spriest, Monk+Spriest, Ret+Spriest, Feral+Spriest, Enhance+Hunter and many, many, many other compositions can effectively train the resto shaman class right now from start to finish, without being punished for it, purging every single heal we put on ourselves and just going through our cooldowns in less than 2 minutes while your teammates try to save you. I have actually never had the problem before that people complain about playing with me, cause I am a resto shaman, but it is happening now. Warlocks already even prefer playing with priests than shamans. And it is going to get even worse with the arrival of weapons and the nerf of stoneform.

I want to take a look of all the effective defensive cooldowns each healer has that helps them escape their enemies or mitigate the damage they take.
Druids: Displacer beast (30 sec cd), Travel form( removes roots and snares), Barkskin and Ironbark(1 min cd, usable while stunned/silenced/feared/horrified), Nature's grasp( the pvp bonus), Heart of the wild, Tree form, Nature's swiftness.
Priest: Permanent 30% damage reduction, Spectral guise (30 sec cd), their glyph of reversed leap ( Dont know the name), Pain Suppression(2 min cd, usable while stunned)
Paladins: Glyph of Freedom, Hand of freedom, Divine Shield, Hand of Protection(even if it gets insta-purged, you break stuns with it), Denounce(preventing crits on you), Divine protection(30 sec or 1 min cd,usable while stunned), their burst of speed( don't know the name), AoE level 100 Nature's guardian.
Monks: Roll(20 sec cd displacer beast with 2 stacks), their port (30 sec cd, instant), Life cocoon(55 sec cd), Fortifying brew(3 min cd), Enveloping mist giving you Roar of sacrifice, Freedom+Burst of speed on 30 sec cooldown.
Shaman: Spirit link(almost never used without trinket), Nature's swiftness, Freedom(1 min cd), Unleash sprint(not usable without freedom), Ghost wolf(a weaker Travel form), Nature's guardian(25%heal on 30 sec cd), Ascendance( heal increase).

I might be missing something, but without a doubt Resto shaman has the least damage mitigation from all healers( actually there is NONE, we don't have any damage mitigation besides our armor and versatility bonus from dispelling which is like 0.77%). Resto shaman has the least mobility out of every other healer. Our "freedom" has 1 min cd and it dies in 1 auto-attack. We can't use anything while we are stunned besides trinket+link. We don't have escape mechanics like druids, paladins and monks, we don't have damage reduction like priests. And even after that I don't mind it. I actually like having to survive when being trained, but...now it just seems that vs. some comps I have 0 chance. It's actually disgusting. I don't know if you guys ever fought a DK+Feral and how you go through you cooldowns in 10 seconds if they know what they are doing.
I was actually thinking if giving us Shamanistic Rage would save the class, but I honestly don't think so. I think that it would just prevent the inevitable for a little longer lol. It's not fun at all to play Resto shaman in the state that the game is right now. I know it's only the second week and I know that towards the end of the season wizards start to get stronger, but damn... we have to endure months of being trained to the ground while waiting for a possibility that wizards will kill the ability of every single comp in the game riding a shaman like a horse?

I want to also make sure to note that with the buff of Enhancement shaman and their ability to provide great sustain and purge every single buff and hot we put on ourselves instantly, life of a Resto shaman will be harder in the following days. Also I would like to bring attention to the nerf of stoneform which Holinka noted in his last night interview, that would make us even weaker than before.

I am sorry for the rant, but i truly believe that my points are very valid and I just want to discuss what you guys think might be a good way to save this class from the endless boredom of being trained by the most ridiculous comps every single game.

I definetly think its too much CC in arena, against some spell cleaves and any hunter team I can't controll my character for 30 seconds straight-.-

I pay 10 euros a month for this game, can I play it plz?

I have been watching some streams lately, and most of the games the players sit in CC most of the game. 2x fear into cyclone into bash, then you try to catch up with the target and you are feared 2x again, sending you to the end of the arena. You get the point.
With the amount of burst and overall damage going on this is game breaking.
Thugcleave openers for example, there is no way you can cast for the first 20 seconds of a game, garrot, cheapshot, silencing shot, stun, kindney and maybe a fear to follow it up, while trying to fake the rogue kick.

I just want to know your opinion on the topic, is there too much cc or is it ok? What should be changed?

i think its obvious they are planing an inflation but i dont know how they are gonna do it.
i mean the new pvp tabards that will come in 5.3 have 2.5k req, do blizzard want like 100 ppl to have it in eu or what, they are obviously planing an inflation

i think the "rating boost" they talked about will be a broken system, just stay in the same team and you will probably get retarded amounts of points at 5.3

Possibly after you have full gear, buy a second weapon, since you cant buy anything else anyhow with CP.
Swap to that weapon sometimes if youre playing vs monks, rogue and warriors.

Rogue 6,9%
DK 5,2%
Warrior 3,9%
Warlock 2,9%
Monk : 1,2%

Based on the first 50 teams per battlegroup, from around 2100/2200~ to the rank one team.

Ofc it's not 100% accurate but give you a pretty good idea though.
Having a low "%" doesn't mean the class is shit, for example DK and Rogue aren't that popular and they are very good.(to not say OP)
