I like the fact that they're actually quickly applying changes, but I don't like that the majority of it is just ''x has more dmg and health now, y has less damage and health now''.
They have much more design space with how things work in PvP now. They could make abilities behave differently, increase a certain spec's movespeed, etcetc. So many possibilities, but so far they're not making use of that.

Any game that stays alive for many years will eventually get to this point. The best way to play is largely known, there are few things left to discover in terms of optimalization, and teams and compositions play out the way you'd expect them to: the optimal way.
For the last ~8 years people have been living in the past (wishing for previous xpacks) or the future (playing the crap out of the ptr or beta). Basically the present live/retail is never as interesting as the past or future = indicator of shit game.
People always like to think about ''good old days'' or ''what could be one day'', that is not exclusive to WoW.
