And cheatdeath change is just laughable, what other class has unreliable cheatdeath-like mechanic? They should either make it heal you back to 10% then proc the buff, or make the buff 99% dmg reduction , otherwise its unreliable garbage.

If you all remember they tried that same garbage with disc priests moves going from cata to mop. They took away passive things and turned them into glyphs. It didn't work for disc so why would it work for  rogues...

Notice they're slowly giving us back everything we lost from cata. Prep, recuperate healing, not having to rupture, trying to make cheat death work again, combo point builder damage. Rogue actually plays the same as in cata only worse in every way lol.

Also shouldn't sinister strike be buffed?

maybe they should remove the from behind only thing off backstab (and ambush) and give a dmg reward for using it from behind, i mean this buffs are great but backstab will still not hit much harder ;D

Hi Hildergard, I've been reading this forums for quite some time and recently leveled a rogue, so was quite excited when you decided to do "The Rogue Podcast".

Small critique:

1) Could you please "introduce" the person that is sharing his/her opinion a bit more often (esp in the begining of the podcast). I appreciate that you introduce everyone in the beginning, but then it's pretty much just free for all. And it's hard to keep track who is talking (many of use seen the vods of top shelf rogues, however not interacted with them)

2) As mentioned, when I saw lineup I got really excited. However, perhaps it's not a good idea (at this stage) to invite so many people to one podcast - as at times it was rather chaotic. In future I am sure you will be able to control "celebrities" a little bit more. But they need guidance, you as a host need to take control and direct them.

Don't take it as negative, it's just some food for thought. Otherwise great work, and I am very happy that you taking ownership and bringing top players together "live". The podcast was very interesting.

Since leech sucks so much in pvp, I"d say BAKE in Paralytic + Leech and call it "Master poisoner" and just combine them into one effect. Paralytic doesn't work on bosses, so no real pve implications.  And offer a reasonable alternative in Tier 5.

Agreed with Mito, every single class but us gets some huge changes after all, you can even see it by PTR 5.4 notes where every class gets some kind of overhaul, and all they give us is buffing a Glyph of Recup, which isn't even our problem now.

The big problem tho is that, Warlock class was the least popular one for a huge amount of a time, and rogue is still a popular class. Also they will never commit to do any pure PvP-oriented changes. If they wanted to, they would do that back when WoW was an e-sports with huge viewership but they just gave up. They consider PvP as a "fun thing to do" besides raiding, and it stands next to pet battles, dailies, professions etc.

I'm not sure that they will try to do something about rogue at the moment, but i feel like they may plan something for the next xpac, since they see class representation in PvP during MoP where rogue is underplayed throughout the xpac.

On a side note, the changes proposed by Woundman are awful, Ayume's ones are way better.

Okay you can destroy every ability with energy costs ;), i was thinking about something that has a cd and no energy costs.

And against some teams... it wasn't even that bad.

-Make shadowstep break roots, lower cd to 15 sec, make it baseline.Reintroduce Hit and Run talent in place where shadowstep was.
-At least remove sing vein from rupture and put it back on hemo for obvious reasons.
-Reintroduce passive crit chance for backstab and ambush.
-Make crippling poison 70% slow again (literally every class has freedom effect and can get away).
-Make recuperate actually heal for an amount thats not laughable (second wind healing 3 times more etc...) its not like you can keep it up always, if you do then you lose damage or energy regeneration. Also whenever recuperate ticks it shortens the duration of bleeds/dots on you by X seconds, this would really help with restealths and survivability at the same time.
-Repair cheatdeath so that it actually works EVERY TIME.(heals you back to 10% of your maximum HP and provides 80% dmg reduction)
-Repair aoe stealth as well as increase rogue stealth level to at least be on pair with feral druid's stealth. Stealth being the "niche" of our class and having the worst stealth in game isn't really fun.
-Rework feint so that when you get stunned with feint up it refreshes to full duration.
-Reduce CD on evasion to at least 2 minutes.

Brian McDonald had a very good idea on Twitter, make Hemorrhage‎ trigger Sanguinary Vein as PvP bonus, that way it will not affect PvE. :duckers:

reduce dmg of ambush?ambush does like 30k?reduce it to what?20k?
