Hey so obviously Ice nova has the most damage output by far of the three talents, but Ive noticed that players are starting to try to counter it, which is quite easy to do. For example, using Feint at the start of your Ice nova gcd. Essentially this puts your Ice nova on cooldown and makes you waste all your burst damage, which really sucks. Another thing people do sometimes is run towards their healer when you start casting barrage which will obviously break a poly, and there's nothing u can do about it. So either you don't burst or u only burst when a druid clones the healer.
I think this will become more of a problem as time goes on and people learn more.
What do you guys think, have you experienced this and do you think enough of it will make frostbomb?
All your 'burst' damage is pretty much instant. You build up Icecles with frostbolt cast, so you have 5 of them ready every time you setup. But yeah, comet storm, ice nova and ice lances are all instants. If you use deep offensive and you can comet storm and frostbolt into the deep, but other then that you press instant buttons. Sometimes when they stack up you can't throw out the ice nova/comet storm, i like to fbolt and icelance in to that (old shatters), till ur druid puts out the clone and press ur instants.
But in terms of skill, I don't know. It's not like it used to be though. Mage is the cc-bot with haste that looks like 'end-expansion-level', it's pretty boring to play atm. I myself play godcomp and all though it's still good, it sure is boring as hell compared to last season or cata godcomp.
Then again, you losers also turned shatterplay, which had been used for who knows how fucking long into God Comp which sounds like it was named by a 12 year old CoD player so who knows what's what anyway
Wrong. Shatterplay is still shatterplay (rsham version). Godcomp (druid version) was known before as shat-tree-play or MP3.
