#4487076 NA & EU Qualifiers aftermath

being good in wotlk(fabio) and being r1(you) in wotlk are ALOT different. gettin r1 in 5s in some shit bg with 1900 cr with 20 ppl sharing is nothing compared to actually gettin r1 now were the "playerbase" is in general alot more skilled/further ahead compared to back then.
Tbh rank 1 became even more of a joke when BGs got merged also made it way less fun getting gladiator/r1, but yes getting rank 1 in wrath 5 years ago in a completely different game doesn't mean you are good in this expansion.
I would say that wotlk required way more skill to play compared to MoP/WoD but then again the general players were a bit worse too so you could outplay your opponents way more. But yeah obviously the outplaying part also had to do with that you had like the double amount of spells that you have now and every class was kind of unique.

@ everyone attending regionals: you have 2 months to hit up the gym (don't skip leg day), get a haircut (should probably go get one ASAP so there's time for your hair to grow back if your barber fucks up, and you have one more reason to stay home more than usual and practice, waiting till it grows), get a bit of a tan before autumn kicks in, whiten your teeth and boost a bit to buy new clothes.

if you actually get into training, remember that a recent canadian study shows how men look more dominant after training their upper back, shoulders, and deltoids. you should get going with those chin pull ups or whatever they're called. byceps actually are secondary, especially in October. Prague can be pretty cold so you should just try to be bigger rather than define your "visible" muscle groups as you'll most likely be wearing long-sleeved clothes. you basically need to bulk.

else u'll be bullied on AJ =)

Certainly amusing how quickly a thread can change from everyone competing to hate on people while they see everyone else is also hating, to everyone now desperate to defend the same people once they see everyone else defending them (including some of the people who were originally hating in the first place)

Not to be rude Dizzeeyo and it's okay for everyone to have their opinion, but I feel like you're completely irrelevant and noone really cares what you think. You just popup on every thread with something completely useless to say because you're incredibly worthless in every single way, not a single word that disperses from your lips has any value or meaning so I really feel like you should just take a step back and be more of a spectator than a contributor on the beautiful arena junkies forum.

Anyways, what Joe said is nearly completely right. Starting some IRL war over this is so fucking weird and standard of the WoW community lol, but it's so obvious that 99% of you would have ALL done the same thing if you had thought of it / think it could've worked. Who wouldn't? With this amount of money on the line and you see something you can use in your favour to get a second chance at a huge prize pool, why the fuck would you not go for it, you'd just stay at home and not play just to say 'at least we were honourable'? There's only ever 1 meaningful tournament a year for WoW and who knows where you'll be in a year's time, you obviously cease the opportunity and do whatever it takes right? Especially if it's as easy as making a single post to ESL and getting a second chance passively lol.

A bunch of us were super pissed at Sadstory for abusing MC bug last year (seems quickly forgotten) and I was really disgusted by it, but in reality if I was in the same position, I'd also do it with that amount of cash on the line. Stop acting like you're all angels and wouldn't do the same thing =)

PS: doesn't mean you can't be mad, it's like Joe says, direct it in ESL's direction since they're the ones who made it so easy to do.

Aight time to chill boys. I'm probably the one furthest away from being a fan of balanced but linking pictures of the players IRL and their interests is just zzz, no mater how much we hate em. Grow up, besides I doubt any of you fuckers are Neal Caffrey-alike IRL either.

Peace & Love

In all seriousness, it's really lame what they did, we all know they tried this the first qualifiers too but it didn't work that time, it's all very sad and lame but honestly the main people here to blame is ESL for being inconsistent and unfair in their ways of handling this.

Ofcourse its disgusting to see a team take advantage of it as tryhard as Balanced did, but like i said its ESL's fault to do unfair rulings and management of their own tournament, and lets face it, if this much money was on the line and you had a chance to take advantage of replaying a game, id imagine a lot of teams (probably including my own) would have wanted to take advantage of this aswell

obviously im still annoyed with how balanced tried to do this but now im more annoyed at my own teammates more than anyone, IRL bashes and making stupid comments about people IRL that has nothing to do with the game is uncalled for and outright offensive, keep it to yourself boys and focus on our own games now. And stop bashing Talby for random shit, he's a very nice guy and im friends with him irl, he doesn't deserve what you 2 are saying to him, this stops now.

Praii and we treated him like our friend and we surely didn't expect him / his team to act like rats. I have also watched many different streams with Healingstat and he seemed a very good guy... So we were extremely surprised to see them acting like that.

Used to think so aswell, heh. hehe. You learn as long as you live

yea they are but fabio acting like praii and co are so bad for doing that when he did it himself thats my point
if you're talking about 2010 blizzcon those rules were there to be followed, how can you make sure everyone doesnt use addons on a online qualifier?do you realize every single player is using them both on NA and EU. Even Lore yesterday on stream was talking about addons and that's why they let teams leave in arena preparation if anything goes wrong with them.

#4477607 mages

Posted Isumi on 16 August 2015 - 05:59 PM

not defending rogue/mage/x it is a very strong and op comp but 3 out of 4 teams in semifinals now are warlock teams.

playing against a warlock team nowadays is equally annoying as playing against a mage team, everything what warlock team does is just react and try to destroy every setup from the enemy team because u know that u will win in dampening eventually.
Healers get rarely cc'd just because they know spamming dmg on everything is just the best thing u can do.

and the tears about getting cc'd whole game against mage teams is on the one hand right but at the other hand its kinda retarded when ur team can't play half of the game but ur still surviving for ages, topping dmgboard by far and enemy mage team's healer cant outheal it anymore as soon as dampening kicks in

tl;dr  mage teams are very strong in many ways but people who think warlock teams aren't equally strong are beyond retarded

The EU quali's really highlighted a lot of issues in the game. More so then the US ones.

With any luck, the developers will really take a close look at all of the matches from the last two qualifier tournies this weekend and start nerfing mages/locks and a few other classes
hopefully, would love to see blazing speed nerf + frostjaw too, maybe even replace flameglow with temporal shield.

#4461092 WoD hate/fun collection thread

Posted Bestpriestjkk on 28 July 2015 - 01:18 AM

Since the birth of shatter, me and my partners life has pretty much turned into shatter itself. We breath it and live it every day. Today after a real skiller session against mages only, we kinda started thinking about the #blizzcondream and what classes will attend this year. Out of that conversation, an interesting and fun idea popped to our minds what we could do about the teams attending.

Laughs and fun pictures followed, and from this we kinda thought it has been a long time since we have seen all the fun pictures people make of the things streamers, their good friends and people they face in arena does and says during/after games. What we would like you all to do is make/post some fun and to  hateful (still fun) pictures towards classes/players. It has been too long since these kind of threads have been made.

#4458413 Ingame macro to allow cheating (warlock)

Posted Wallirik on 23 July 2015 - 05:28 PM

So I was linked this nice official wow forum thread
http://us.battle.net...pic/18300734979

Thread is about a macro, that you can spam, and it will not use spell lock unless your target is casting (you can actually fake this, but yeah same deal as interrupthack basically).

I recorded me trying it out, in hopes of it being fixed before the day is over.

Tweet holinka etc, get this shit fixed asap.

video description:
macro was posted on official wow forums, and ownedcore (common exploit forum). It's a recording of a recording because I dc'd, as you can see.
I am not a cheater, and I do not condone cheating - I made this video because I don't want disgusting people to use it against me. Needs to be fixed asap. #TweetHolinka

go to 00:30 where i spam the first macro.
The first macro, you spam it and it won't use spell lock until a cast starts on your target.
I don't really know anything at all about addons/macros/scripts etc, I'm sure you could change this 1st macro to also spell lock focus etc.

go to 00:57 where i activate the second macro script.
The second macro is some script that was found on ownedcore. You run the script and it will automatically spell lock your focus target whenever they start casting - on cooldown (also tries to spell lock hearthstone and other things immune to interrupt).

From what others have told me - this happens because certain elements like "CastSpellByID" is locked for player spells, but not for pet spells. So I guess that's what needs fixing.
