Whenever I normally que RMD vs MLS we just train shaman. When we dont have damage we hit whatever DPS is most juicy at the time. We just continually setup swaps to shaman on orb/dance and normally land a kill whenever you catch him in a kidney without trinket.

I believe MW is one of the strongest heals for this comp. It is viable with almost any healer though.

What comps do you normally run? As a mage you rely on your partners to peel for you aswell. You should be spellstealing any beneficial spells and kiting as much as you can with cone of cold, novas, pet nova etc. Be mindful of your DRs and other teams dispels. It is hard to know what youre doing wrong without seeing any gameplay but i recommend watching as manymage streams and just practicing as much as you can. You will never get better if you stop as soon as you start losing because you get frustrated. Just practice practice practice.

The game has definitely changed over the past couple years. Especially the playstyle of many classes. All you can really do is just practice and attempt to get back to the skill level you were before. You cant expect to pick up a game you havent touched in years and instantly be top tier. Watch streams read the foruma and practice. You will get back there eventually. Dont take it so serious just have fun it is a game after all.

You have to know when to play offensively and when to be playing defensively. You and your lock both need to be peeling and lining up your CC chains. Watch streams and practice mainly though.
