With the recent decission to nerf the "Vicious Talisman of the Shado-Pan Assault", I saw it as my duty to make a video to perhaps change Holinka and Ghostcrawlers decision.

Please show your support, and tweet Holinka and Ghostcrawler to make them realize what a massive mistake they have made.

Even though this video is a colaboration video between RYLEZ CREW and NOTEVENEU PRODUCTIONS, noone was scammed during the making of this video.


I have tweeted holinka and ghostcrawler about this story, and I hope they have a change of hearth when it comes to this trinket.

  • Blood Plague no longer benefits from the damage increase granted by Tricks of the Trade.
  • Frost Fever no longer benefits from the damage increase granted by Tricks of the Trade.
  • Necrotic Strike's healing absorption effect has been increased to 225% from attack power, up from 200%.
  • Gorefiend's Grasp can now affect a maximum of 4 player targets. The number of non-player targets that can be affected remains unlimited.
  • Festering Strike now deals 175% weapon damage, down from 200%.
  • Scourge Strike now deals 165% weapons damage, up from 135%.
  • Sudden Doom now requires the Death Knight to be in Unholy Presence to activate the effect that causes Death Coil to cost no Runic Power.
  • Unholy Might now increases the Death Knight's Strength by 10%, down from 15%
Looks like they reverted the dmg changes to FS and SS and didn't nerf Unholy Might? Necrotic also got a buff. Me like :)

You see people quitting (or atleast threatning to quit) on a regular basis, this can be due to balance changes, not having the time or just overall boredom of the game. One of the ways Blizzard are trying to keep their customer attrition rate down, is by trying to make the game more alt friendly, giving players more stuff to do.

An alt friendly game, encourage people who are easily bored with their class, character or realm to keep playing, by rerolling to one of their other alts. I have faced the same problem a few times, and if an expansion is not on the horizon, I simply quit playing my character and spend time on something else, be it another game or spending time with friends (god forbid).

Right now when you reach 27.000 conquest points, you can buy all the other sets from honor (493-498 iLvl). This only applies to your character that has the achievement. Now, I don't have the time to play RBG or keep high ratings (not to mention, ensure being on a high pop realm and keeping 3 active 3v3 teams), meaning I am left with basicly 1 character that will be able to benefit from this. This means if I try to reroll, my alts will be severely undergeared, and they will be no fun to play and it will not be possible to migrate them in order to play with friends if you want to stay competitive.

Therefor, in order to try and give an extra incentitive (not only to earn a bit extra) but also to keep your playerbase (atleast within the pvp community) I would strongly suggest making this achievement account wide, meaning that all your other characters can farm the gear from honor, once you did it with 1 character.

Now, I can't really see the consequenses of this change, but perhaps some fellow AJ members could tell me why this might be a bad idea?

force defensives

set up a kill

burst down kill target

IMO its how arena should be played, not drain their team untill people run oom

ofc burst shouldn't be retardly high, but i find winning because u set up your kill way more interesting than draining a whole team for 15 minutes

What a disgusting thread. The dude literally says "I agree with you guys that Hunters are currently very strong/OP, and I think the nerfs coming in 5.3 are needed - though I would have nerfed something else about the class" and you spend 5 pages insulting his icon and ignoring the topic anyway.

With this change it's going to be damn near impossible to reliably land traps.

All pet cc is considered a stun which means it is reduced by meta gem and orc racial.
One of the stuns is removable by a completely different racial and tremor totem.

All 11 classes have ways to get out of roots which means what we'll have to use a silence on the target just to trap good players.
But regardless, if we're forced to use roots to trap now, that means we have to get narrow escape constantly. Meaning Post Haste and Crouching Tiger Hidden Chimera will never be used, which are both very necessary survival talents for some comps.

Our CC was our main draw for partners, other classes can survive easier and provide more support than we do, but our CC made us valuable.

Now we will be forced to pair up with classes that we can trap off of. So that means their CC must be stationary and not on Poly DR to be effective.

Warriors: Shockwave, Intimidating Shout
Rogues: Blind
Demo Locks: Pet Stun
Spriest: Psychic Horror
Dk: Pet Stun
Ret Pallies: Blind and Hammer

These are the only classes I see having the necessary CC to synergize enough with us to make us semi-valuable partners.

However, these stuns being used for CC means they can't be used offensively, which is a huge issue and will make other classes with Poly Dr CC more vauable, namely mages, monks, and shamans.

This change is game breaking for hunters.
