5) Definitely disagree that 3 orb devouring plague is nothing compared to mage damage. Spriest burst is insanely high, and the biggest portion of that burst (per global) comes from devouring plague. Assuming that you're coordinating burst, you should dump a 3 orb dp into the deep and then dump procs (fdcl or divine insight). You would potentially be back to 1-2 orbs, and then do a short horror after the deep. I would not suggest holding 3 orbs to disarm at the end of deep.

6) Priests that don't shield/pom aren't playing at their max potential. Shield is an instant ~50k heal (more if you have int procs), and pom can add up to a significant amount of healing against spread pressure comps. You should absolutely be using these spells throughout a match. It doesn't really equate to a loss of pressure, as pretty much all your kill opportunities happen when you dump orbs while using crowd control (silence/fear or teammate cc).

5) Okay, so maybe I exxagerated a "bit", 3orb is strong, but if you can only connect at the end of the deep for some stupid reason, it's definitely better to save the 3 orbs to disarm after deep or silence. If you coordinated your burst well you can use your 3orb DP into a 1orb horror, that is true. However sometimes stoping someone from gating / using defensives is a lot better than just pumping damage into him praying for a crit.

6) Ofcourse you should use them during the match, I didn't say you should not. He was asking if he should use them on CD, which is definitely not worth the global / mana cost as battle fatigue just destroys both of them, and it will not stop a rampaging KFC damage, nonetheless it's good if your healer is sitting cc's.

Actually, that's a good question. If you're not being focused is it a good idea to just dot everything outside of burst windows?

Another question is if a good burst windows arises and I do not have 3 orbs is it worth using devouring plague? Or 3 orbs only?

It's always a good idea to just dot everything and try to fish procs if you cannot free-cast, and for the 3orb part, I sometimes use 2orb DP if I really don't have anything else to throw at them (talking about mind blast on cd, sw:d cd/not avaiable, horror on cd).

Edit: It is indeed worth it to gem full haste if you can get the haste cap by doing so. Thanks for pointing it out!

1) Always prioritize mind blast over dots, orbs are the main source of your damage.

2) Those pieces give the most haste, haste stacking is the best at the moment.

3) Personal preference, I personally like to gem pvp power / haste in blues, but still going 2*320 in legs. (edit: if you can get the haste cap (14873) by gemming full haste, do so.)

4) Divine star against anything that trains you, also halo has a high risk breaking your partner's cc. (blind, poly, etc)

5) Yes, sometimes it's a lot better to 3orb horror somebody after deep (when playing with a mage), 3orb DP is nothing compared to your mage's dmg. If you learn how to use it offensively, it's really strong.

6) I personally rarely use mending and shield, it won't save your partner vs. 140k slams, however using mending almost off CD vs. lsd/lsd2/any aids comp helps a lot.
