Let's go back to the beginning of TR. Snutz, Toez and I had paired up with confidence since WLS was good and Warriors were looking like the best melee class. WLS beat DKLS which was running rampant, and stomped most caster cleaves (pre-patched shamans were talking), and generally felt like one of the strongest comps on TR. We never got to play as much as we wanted because Snutz was never around as he just got his first girlfriend and lost his virginity, frequently asking me for sex advice and telling me about his girlfriend's yeast infection. We got maybe 2 decent sessions in on the first week of TR, and easily held 1st place, putting most of our confidence in what felt like a very strong WLS comp.
Then blizzard patches mid TR, warrior 2h damage was nerfed by 8%, rogue damage was buffed by 6%, DK unholy buffed and the soul swap nerf hurt us as well. We started having trouble with teams like Diziet's cleave, who we had no trouble with before. RLS was getting hard, DKLS seemed so much different than before and Shadowplay close to impossible after the spriest buffs. We had 2 teams going with 1 that was 100% safe for qualification. We didn't have the same confidence as before the patch and were pretty frustrated by lack of practice, but mainly by lack of playtime because of Snutzs first girlfriend.
At this time we were approached by Pookz who was concerned with qualifying and was scared his DK/Mage/Priest would be hit too hard with the frost DK nerf. We eventually agreed to give them some games on our alt team, put them in qual range, and they'd give us a game on our main team (which was already qual'd). This happened and was fairly easy to organize as it was the last day of Season 9 and most players were queuing on live. A week passes with no changes to the top 8. With about 2-3 days left before TR ends, and with Snutz showing no sign of trying to be on to practice or committing, Toez decided to leave and try to qualify a last minute Shadowplay with Shouri/Imbadz. Toez came forward and told me he would do this, which I respected and understood. However, this did not go well. They capped out at around rank 15 and it seemed Toez,Snutz and I were destined to go to regional's un-confident and more so just for the free trip.
1 day before TR ends, Snutz comes online and tries to get our WLS to play and Toez isn't having it. Toez had no desire to play with Snutz since he was never on and was screwing our WLS out of practice. After seeing how the EU TR was dominated by MLS, Snutz starts queuing with Kollektiv and Pookz, they do EXTREMELY well and go something like 60-3 up to almost qual range. Kollektiv of course is already teaming up with Massive/Nadagast and can't really commit to this new MLS team. This is where Toez comes in. Toez wanted to qual really bad and came "CrawlingBack" to Snutz to try a last minute MLS run. This went well. MLS dominated all the DKLS and melee cleaves, and had a very good shot at beating EG's Shadowplay. I had no problem with any of these players before this. I wasn't told they were going to try MLS, and how it would potentially screw me out of qualifying. I feel it was pretty shitty on their part to go behind my back knowing it would screw me over. Look, I understand the game is all about Comp. I would never deny them a much better shot at winning if they needed to play with a Mage. I understand the game changes and at that point MLS was a much better option than WLS. Was it a shitty way to go about it? Absolutely. Not to mention the DK/Mage/Priest (Phil/Mackenzie) team that Pookz was going to qualify with? Yeah, they'd be screwed out by this as well.
Now was I upset or bitter at the time? Sure. Did I revenge "hack" anyone, No. Did I delete any characters? No. May I have provided someone who was upset about this situation as well with a few battle net e-mails? Maybe. Last day of TR and around mid afternoon there is word going around that Snutz got hacked, with his character deleted. I looked into this and found it hilarious, thinking that there is no way for them to come back from a hacked/banned account on the last day of TR, since TR REGISTRATION HAD BEEN CLOSED FOR WEEKS even if they bought a new account. Thinking back to the time where Crysalids RLS got hacked FOUR DAYS before a TR ended and there was no possibility of qualifying again, well unfortunately they didn't have a Pookz on their team. 1 hour letter Snutz's MLS is online and queuing arena. How was this possible? His account was hacked/banned, his character no longer existed on armory... and TR registration was closed. In comes Kalgan. Pookz apparently called Kalgan (Lead Developer of Blizzard) on his cellphone and told him the situation. Kalgan got Snutz a brand new TR registered account, his lock restored on that NEW account, MMR restored and invited to the team as well even when inviting was DISABLED. This was known because right after the phone call, Pookz came in skype bragging about how he just called his "pal kalgan" and got everything fixed. I guess it is about who you know. I've also heard that Pookz was "hacked" shortly after, and had a ban lifted on his account in under an hour. (we've all seen this process take a few days at least)
Regardless of all there setbacks, 2 hours left before TR ends and Snutz MLS is top 12. They're spamming games trying to qual and are getting within 100 rating, but at the same time getting tanked by Diziets Dk/Rog/Sham cleave. Venruki/Sodah/Valrath are also top 8 and 100% qual'd at this point, and begin queuing on an alt team and alt chars. They get Snutz's team, what do you think happens? We all know Complexity.Red was Sodah/Venruki/Snutz.
Even when Toez (Crawlingback) MISSED A QUEUE, they went in 3v2 and Sodah/Ven/Val gave them the win. This put them at within 10 rating of qualification, with only 30 minutes left before the server shut down. EG's shadowplay witnessed all this, and decided to get on one of their high teams as Double healer/lock to 45min draw snipe them. They got in the same game, and after about 15 minutes Cdew DC'd - which gave Snutz MLS the win and enough points to qualify. The snipe ended up biting EG in the ass pretty hard, while unfortunate but pretty funny as well.
Now don't get me wrong, Pookz/Snutz/Toez are obivously all top tier and could most likely qualify regardless. Do they deserve it? Maybe. Do others deserve to have gone? Possibly. It all comes down to Blizzard being irresponsible and not labeling this as an Arena Tournament. They didn't say anything about a top 8, or a LAN tournament, they just didn't clarify anything which in the end gives them the power to do whatever the fuck they want. Benys/Crysalid/Reckful were the RLS that qualified. Why did Venoma/Gravemind/Reckful show up to regionals? (Hint: rhymes with Dalgan) Since when were players allowed to just be substituted at the last minute... I thought this is the reason they make you play on your own account? They did whatever they want and invited whoever they wanted, and made it look legit by personally helping players they are friends with.
When it's all said and done Snutz MLS played well, which is surprising considering I'm sure they had almost no practice. They may have fucked me and others over which you could call a dick move, but they still won a ton of money, so congrats to them. However that 2-3 PHD finals loss might be the perfect definition of what karma tastes like, just sayin'.
tldr; snutz gf has yeast, people got fucked outta qualifying, win trading happens every tr whether you believe/like it or not, snutz mls won a ton of money from a shit game; karmas a bitch.

BLUE - STICKY
After watching Blizzcon and high rated PvP during MoP, Blizzard developers have decided to erase the expansion.
From upgrading to WoD you will receive a seasonal buff for arena.
We feel Death Knights are somewhat lacking in arena. After much testing and debate we feel that Death Knights deserve to be stronger in arena. After all they are the Hero class of the game. We want you to fear the return of Season 5. Instead of reworking the class to be more versatile and participate in Esports, we decided to add the following changes.
3v3 Rating increased by 30%.
Death Knight damage has been doubled.
Death Strike now heals as much as a Feral's Healing Touch bitch.
2 Pets may be summoned at any time.
Gargoyle is now a permanent pet controlled by the Death Knight and cannot be attacked.
Gargoyle now has 4 new abilities in the form of Talents. (2 may be chosen)
1) Godliness - The Gargoyle Gains 100% movement speed and is has no unit collision (pillars included).
2) Pillar Turret - The Gargoyle hibernates - growing by 300% and becoming pure stone. Gargoyle now acts as a Pillar and attacks 200% slower.
3) Aerial Assault - The Gargoyle takes flight giving the ability to move on a xyz axis at all times. Gargoyle's haste increased by 20%
4) Carry me - Gargoyle picks up the Deathknight for 6 seconds. Can be dropped anywhere similiar to alter time.
Controlled by the DK on a xyz axis.
New major glyph - Evil Transfer
Aerial Assault now removes the Death Knight from arena temporarily. The Deathknight now controls the Gargoyle and can move on a xyz axis for 30 seconds. You gain the ability Godmode. You have a permanent 50% slow aura effecting all enemies up to 40 yards away and gain 50% haste.
3v3 Rating reduced by 100 + 5% (resto)
Boomkins have lost the ability to be gay in 2s.
3v3 Rating reduced by 15%
Hunter no longer has overpowered cc and damage.
All Ratings Reduced by 40%.
Mage spells now have a 2% chance to be reflected. Stacks with meta spell reflect.
Mages now must play arcane or fire 30% of the time in arena or all gear breaks with a 300% repair cost.
Ring of Frost can now be reflected directly onto each friendly player within 50 yds of the mage. For each enemy within 50 yds, Ring of Frost has a 5% chance to be reflected.
Monk class specs have been deleted.
WW now turns monk into a shitty Rogue.
MW now turns monk into a crappy Priest.
BM now turns monk into a trash Warrior.
Monks gain the Ability - I Can Do it All. The Monk gains an ego and can temporarily hack WoW Matrix Style. The Monk turns into any class spec and receives optimal gear. 3 day CD. This class is only available until the Cooldown Resets.
After the cooldown resets, the Monk gains the debuff "Suck it". Every player who beat the Monk in arena siphons 50 gold directly from the Monk. If the Monk runs out of Gold, money is withdrawn via his subscription and paid out to the Players in USD. Rates are equivalent to China Spammers that we never have gotten ridden of.
Mental Yoga Pants Stretch
Monk gains mental strength and attracts the nearest in game girl.
The girl is required to whisper the Monk. If she does not comply she is temporarily banned for 1 day, increasing by a day every time she fails to whisper. Stacks per Monk. After 10 stacks she must Skype with the Monk before Tuesday or she is banned.
Judicial Customer Service - 1800 - Blizzfixwowkthx
Mentioning orbs, mana tea, ring of peace, dematerialize and fist of fury now gives monk a 30 minute deserter buff.
All ratings increased by 25%
Ret chance to be overpowered now 100%.
Paladins gain the Passive Ability - Chasity Belt - The Paladin cannot be purged or stunned.
Paladins gain the Passive Ability - I'm a Tank Bitch - Armor for Paladin now effects magical damage and is increased by 20%.
We've decided Orcs, Gnomes, Night Elfs and Undead can now be the Paladin Class. Free race change upon purchase of WoD (3 charges, life time expiration)4
Ratings reduced by 15% (holy) Guardian is now not useless.
Ratings increased by 15% (shadow) Shadow priests now stand a chance in 2v2.
Priest suffer permanent mortal strike -25% healing when paired with a mage or hunter. This effect stacks with similar effects.
We feel shamans have been a bit too versatile in every aspect of the game. We did not intend shamans to be the best class in the game. The following changes are to give other classes hope in a world full of pain and sorrow. World of warcraft was not meant to be this way. We are ashamed and beg forgiveness.
All arena ratings suffer fatigue. Every day not logged on increases rating deflation by 5% until the season ends.
Upon entering arena a target similar to Hunter's Mark now tracks the blue. Every enemy player gains 1% movement speed per yard away from the blue.
Every Shaman is stripped of gold, gear, titles and achievements if it leveled to 90 in season 15.
Using tremor totem now Stuns the shaman for 5 seconds. Does not share DR bitches.
Ratings increased by 15%
Rogues teammates damage reduced by 20% for the first 2 minutes of combat.
Rogues killed in arena are now automatically Flag of Ownershipped by every player on both teams. Rogue then DCs due to too many Flags.
We feel warlocks are retarded.
Upon entering arena warlocks suffer temporary and random disconnects similar to a ddos attack without leaving the arena. The time out of the game ranges from 1-30 seconds. They must restart WoW to re enter the arena. An authenticator for logging in is required to play arena.
Gate now bugs 95% of the time.
Spam clicking gate now refreshes the 95% chance to fail.
Gate now has infinite range and can go through pillars.
Players teleporting through gate go 50% slower and can be attacked, cced and fucked with.
Every Warlock is stripped of gold, gear, titles and achievements if it leveled to 90 in season 15.
Ratings reduced by 5% above 2.7
Ratings reduced by 15% above 2.4
Ratings reduced by 50% under 2.4
Arms warriors lose the ability to use shields and dualwielding and all 2H weps except Staffs.
Arms warriors can equip Wands, Daggers and Shovels.
NEW ARENA SYSTEM
Due to the extensive overuse of particular comps, we have decided that we have simply allowed bullshit to continue for too long.
We're weighing the option whether to ban healers from 2s or start dampening from the first minute of the game.
God Comp and all variations can no longer Q
LSD receives permanent 20% dampening that stacks with normal dampening.
MLS - Lock/Rsham are teleported to the enemy spawn when the gates open.
RMD/RMP - PoM, Blind and Nature's Swiftness are removed in arena.
KFC - Now takes Skill
RLS - Will never be good again.
Beast cleave - All Pets alternate between attacking enemy team and ally team. Damage is increased by 50% on allies.
Shadowcleave/WLS - Players now suffer 20% of their own dot damage.
Jungle - Feral has the ability to go Wild. Honorbuddy controls the feral for the enemy team and trains his own healer.
Other OP comps - Chance to instance Abort increased to 7.5% for each player queuing.

However, 2v2 discussion is something I'd like to promote.
There's A LOT of people who simply don't have the motivation/will/time/partners/whatever to commit to 3s. It is a very, very complex bracket, and I'm not talking about skill ceiling or learning curve (<- these things: infinite discussions, please don't follow up). I'm talking about just the sheer amount of knowledge, mechanics, techniques and setup required even for moderate success, thrown on top of a very fast and unforgiving dynamic (relative to everything else in WoW), along with communication and synergy with two other people, which means more responsibility for the individual. Of course, those two other people need to have a similar sleep/raid schedule as yours, and the specs you play will have a huge impact on effort/success, which will change every patch.
Success in 3s takes commitment even from veteran players. Remember people used to complain about "arena elitism" and high rated player circlejerk (probably still do)? A negative phenomenon on its own, but it has very specific reasons to exist (apart from the obvious social reasons): too many things have to "click" for a successful 3s team to exist. I intentionally don't define "success" because it's relative, but the concept is the same: people are lazy, which is natural, they want to jump straight to fun, not go through sorting out stuff they've already sorted before. It makes sense.
As a result, we have tons of nerds and cool kids who idle in duel zones without ever dueling, teamless, ignoring all whispers, quietly plotting how to get max rating with min effort.
And then we have 2s, where all of this is simplified or gone completely. Here, you can actually just pew pew for fun, not just because of the logistics but also because of the pace and less responsibility (just you and your bro). 3s are serious business in comparison to 2s. I mean, if we ignore balance issues, it's completely fair to say that it's much easier to have fun in 2s than it is in 3s, AND it's easier to learn the game in 2s as a bonus.
But maybe titles isn't the right solution. 3v3 should remain the serious business bracket, putting the same rewards elsewhere will devalue 3v3. Titles aren't even a good reward for 2v2, I think the reward should be something much more instant. Gold, for example. 2v2 gameplay should be looked at as well, it doesn't need solid balancing, it just needs a few small adjustments to make dps/heal vs dps/heal bearable, and some specs toolbox to shrink slightly (disable/tax abilities in zones? can't be hard).
