If you miss the kick you could always trap them, then trap them again, then knock them into a binding shot, or feign death.

i really liked the old rupture_tourney addon back in tbc. Sadly this addon didn't get updated so i made a lookalike version of it with the shadowed unit frames addon and i just wanna share it with you guys. It's just the unit frames - nothing else. Like the majority of the people on this forum, I am far from a good player, but truly fit as most would describe as amateur - not great, but not terible, always hover around 1800 rating, coming on to AJ to read up and try to learn new things, tuning in to strams, etc. So, this is my take on WoD so far.

First impressions- not terrible, but not great either. I constantly have to remind myself that this is just Beta, all I'm playing is skrims with people of same or lesser skill level, and hopefully they'll have it fixed for the first season. Some of the problems I noticed at first have been tuned, while others have come up. I'll try to go through everything as best as i can.

Heals - General: any caster type healer - really all but druid - seems to be pretty easy to be trained by melee, rarely able to get away for long enough time to fully heal up, and when you do, they switch to another target, and then that target is basically dead. Could very easily be my lack of experience with all these healers, but when I have played a melee DPS, i seem to be able to train healers just as easy. Priests: holy to me just seemed extremely weak when i played it, but I heard it was recently buffed. With Chakra having a 10 sec. CD, it knocked off their CC. Disc actually seems strong, and one thing I've noticed when playing as one/against one, it is better to kick penance/not get kicked on penance than a flash heal, as penance is a damn strong heal. Shields aren't weak, but aren't to strong, and easily purged off, a perfect balance in my eyes. Clarity of Will is a nice talent, but hard to use in the middle of a fight with its long cast time, really only useful at beginning. Saving grace seems to be the best talent as PoM just doesn't heal enough to make the free PoM worth it, but I could be wrong. Adding silence will make RMP a strong comp in my eyes. Paladin: they got a nice buff recently, increasing the heals of the instant casts. I've never played a holy pally, so I was trying to learn in just a few games. They seemed to be easily trained, but I'm also not used to playing one and their mechanics. They do have some strong heals, especially with wings up, and 2 beacons, so someone with skill will do good with this class probably. Monk: by far the weakest healer to me. I find them nice to play when being trained, seems easy to get away, but weak when having to heal more than one person w/o using a 3 min. CD. A fun class, but it was the healer that i struggled the most with. Could be that i was playing with meh players against good players, or that I suck, but it just seemed hard to have to heal more than one guy at a time - possible, but hard, which is why for me, their the weakest healer at the time. Shaman: 2nd is heals at this time behind druids. Some strong heals, decent survivability (although still hard to be trained by 2 melee), and more forgiving to play than even a druid. While tremor got nerfed, still a decent tool to have, and grounding and spirit link are god sends, and you still get good heals from healing totems/riptide if you have them out before being cc'd. Unleash/riptide is still strong, but not completely overpowered. Shamans are a damn good choice at this time still if you don't feel like playing a druid. Druid: by far best healer. They have very good heals, but their survivability is what makes them the best. Easy to avoid cc/being trained by shifting, blinking, or barkskining. While having natures grasp would have been nice, at least with the 4 piece its added into barkskin. The only downside of a druid is playing against someone who spams dispel like myself when a DPS - then it can be easy to be dropped sometimes. Druid has always been my main, and will always be since it was my first class to hit max level back in WotLK.
DPS - Shadow: making MB instant cast by talent was a great addition, and with their current state, truly necessary. Insanity is a nice damage boost (although it does seem a little weaker now), taking instant mind spikes seems to be a necessity as well. SP damage is great, but its easy to be trained to the ground. When I got a decent healer and a rogue who could peel, we went on >20 win streak till the healer got off. Surviving is hard, and taking Glyph of Fade seems mandatory. It seems that mastery is by far the best stat, especially since its easy to do decent damage without to many casts, other than VT. Fear may be the best selection on that tier, but against melee, even if its just one, the root is the best option (only a few games out of the 100's i've played have not had a melee). Giving SF a passive damage reduction could help some of the survivability, but I feel like reducing the CD on disperse would be the best change or making PoM instant cast, but I doubt that would happen. Hunter: good damage, but it just seemed plain. MM is weird without arcane shot, and while lone wolf is nice, losing Sac and freedom just isnt worth it in my eyes. (I do see phd being an absolute retard damage comp though, with ok CC and just pure damage). Even weider than not having arcane shot is not having scatter - scatter trap has been a staple since i started playing, but more than that, you lose an extra piece off CC, so now that trap for the healer needs to be used on a DPS to peel, instead of just scattering them. Stun seems to be the best talent choice in my eyes. I didn't play BM, have no intention too. I hear its strong though. Survival was fun, and I did good playing HLS. Putting out dots, then barraging with Incendiary Ammo did ridiculous AoE damage.Same survivability as in MoP in my eyes, with the option to lose Sac and do more damage. DK: mongoloid. I've never played  a DK until this Beta, and even then as unholy, there's times i do more than everyone's damage combined. Good survivability, decent ability to stay on a target (although not 100% necessary). Ok CC with stuns, but that's it that I know of. Ret: not a terrible melee. Good damage, good heals. They honestly seem to actually be the most balanced dps at this time with the small nerf to WoG, and not a lot off CC. Shaman: ele isn't bad, with decent damage and surviability, though losing Lightning on the run sucks. I'm not a fan of their play style though, having to flame shock every target, then instant LB everything. Earthquake is worth using again. LB damage isn't insane, so its not to bad to play against, but they can do significant damage. 4 piece bonus was a necessity. Enh. is pretty strong still, good damage, but also easy to be kited at times. Very easy to stay on a target by use of CD's, especially during Ascendance with 4 piece bonus. Honestly, shams seems to be very similar to how they are in MoP, but note that i didn't play one to much in MoP, or this Beta. Rogue: only played assassin. easy damage, easy to lock down healer. probably best class in game as of right now, but they did have some nerfs. Monk: didnt play a dps monk, sorry. seem strong when played by a good player. Warrior: good damage and gap closers, decent surviability. Apparently prot is best spec atm. Fury is playable in pvp. Another class I didn't play till Beta. I did seem to beat warriors on my hunter easily...Mage: Arcane seems to be most played spec, but i still prefer frost, although weaker. Fire isn't bad also, but once you combust, and healers having an option of 2 dispels, makes it hard to do anything with. Kinda weak atm, seems to be easily killed. got globaled by a dk, feral, war team shortly after blocking and being healed. Deep breaking by damage is weird, no PoM poly is good. If stays like this, weakest season for mages that i know of. Druid: good damage/heals. Feral got nerfed a little recently, but their heals is still strong. One thing I've noticed though - it's very clear which druid knows what their doing, and which don't. Lock: havent faced or played a destro lock as their pretty weak. Afflicition seems to get shit on a lot, but I like them, I seem like I have something to do other than put first dots up than swap to each person (i hated that play style). Soul shards are quite important, and don't seem to generate a lot, so using them on soul swap just doesn't seem to be the best option in my eyes. Good damage, good survivability. Demonology doesnt strong damage, especially demon bolt, but if CC'd during meta, it can dampen their damage. Still very strong though with chaos waves and instant casts are always nice.

In general, it doesn't seem to be terrible, and they have made some good changes, but still needs some work. I somehow see triple melee being a strong comp for less experienced players like myself. I do see RMP, RPS, KFC, Beast Cleave, PHD, TSG, Vanguards Cleave (sorry if not right name), kittycleave, scooby doo cleave, and turbo cleave being VERY good comps,  and possibly shadow cleave/unholy cleave. God comp, MLS, LSD/LSD2, and possibly even shadowplay can be good, but i feel that you need to have at least one melee on the team in this current state.

If I messed something up, or you want me to try something, just let me know. Again, this is just my view, the view of your everyday player, on how WoD arenas will be. Hope this helped some people.
