#3854116 GC - Cross realm arenas and teams being debated

Wouldn't this just make wintrading easier to do (implying it's not already) and harder to detect, especially if there's no teams

If anything, it might make it harder because of how many teams would be queueing resulting in it being almost impossible to time.

This would be amazing - but would blizzard really do something that would lose them money - they must know about the mass migration that goes on for glad/r1/boosts every season.

Props to them if they do it though

what really makes blizzard the money in the long run is subscriptions... keeping people paying month in and month out.  That's what they really want...transfers are tiny amount of money in comparison... if you can boost interest in the game and make people play for longer (by longer I mean for more months/years) then you are going to make more money in the long run.

KFC is stong now, but what about RLS, RMP and TSG some seasons ago?
My question is, which one was strongest?
is it fair to call kfc'ers no skill players cuz they play a good comp this season, just like every lock did when rls was good? or every mage did when rmp was even better?
We can say s12 kfc requires a lot of skill, at least as much as wrath / tbc rmp. Actually it's safe to say that KFC is way harder to play/ get high rating because every class is easily cc'able and a true glass cannon that does very little damage, every kill requires outskilling the opponent beyond imagination and a tiny mistake costs you the game. 3 people have to have amazing synergy and coordination.
You (probably) achieved the highest rating of your life this season, you put countless hours to improve, finally met the right people and did it, simple as that, nothing to do with anything else. It's just pure coincidence that it happened with KFC and this season.

Skill wise: s12 kfc > rmp > rls > tsg

Rep if this was the information you were looking for.

RMP required good synergy and communication. RLS was bit stupid but still you had to do something proper time to time.
The only comp that i can compare KFC to is TSG or Beastcleave.

I feel like every KFC ive played never tries to CC the spriest when trapping. With that being said, either I am lucky or unlucky to play against bad KFC's and still get the chance to lose.

I feel like the majority of KFC players are mongoloid shits that dont coordinate well. And the ones that do coordinate well, are either sitting or centending for R1. My 2 cents anyway.

#3848976 Reactions on the new honor gear

Posted Dizzeeyo on 14 February 2013 - 02:04 PM

looking forward for the first time ever to not having to grind a full new honor set when a new season starts in order to have the best possible starter gear, and a ilvl difference of 7 is nothing really to cry about compared to some of the differences in the past, and how much work in general they have put into making it easier to gear up this season.

crying that honor gear is slightly lower ilvl then fully upgraded previous seasons epic gear, while considering all the other changes together as well, is like crying about the taste of a cake just because you don't like one of the cherries on top, get over it really

really dumb that people who grind out ~25k+ honor are still going to be behind people that just bought full malev from this season. It's all because of LFR ilvl requirements too. They don't want people just grinding honor to get into LFR easily (despite LFR being a fucking joke).

if you actually stop to think instead of just rage posting, a system like this is actually more logical and consistent compared to how gearing in pve works when a new raid is released, previously top geared characters gradually replace their current sets as better items drop and fresh characters grind new starter gear that was introduced at the launch of the new content to allow them to catch up quickly

regardless of how the logic seems stupid to you personally, to them i imagine it actually makes nice sense

#3848166 The New Overpowered Healing class 5.2

Read the Patch notes?

do you have any clue what utility even is?

the main problem with priest healers isnt even the fact that the healing throughput or survivability is so bad, its that they bring nothing to a comp that other healers cant bring better - which is called utility. priest used to be the best dispeller (double defensive double purge), with the best offensive pressure (smite and holy fire damage was sick), mana burn, and fear. that was our "utility". It came at the cost of mobility, and survivability.

now priest healer brings fear and mass dispel. fear has a ton of problems as a disc priest, as any half decent shaman will never have to sit a fear with 35 second tremor and ghost wolf, and any other team can use the fear as an opportunity to easily swap the priest, ESPECIALLY after the phantasm nerf. mass dispel is pretty good.

if you still dont grasp utility we would say that paladins bring bop sac freedom repentance hoj and aura mastery. This comes with high mobility and extremely high healing throughput. better offensive pressure as well. hard to justify playing my priest over my paladin in almost any comp before or after patch.

Man wtf is this need more feedback - seems the "vendetta" players are too busy counting the nickels they leech from viewers and have no time to share their opinion on how to make the game better for everyone

no priest is good because of the utility the class has now

What utility exactly? I played on PTR, I thought disc is more like a season 2 holy paladin(without bop, sac, freedom)  that can massdispel (remaining abilities are negated/performed better by other healing classes)

Maybe we have a different understanding of "utility", do tell though, what utility were you talking about?

I'd like to see every melee lose a stun.Removal of additional interrupts: fae silence, disruptive shout etc. People need a casting window, especially when trained by 2 melees.

Reducing hunter cc, so that the healer isn't %30 inactive in arena by instants.
NS removed from non healing specs and put to 3 mins cd. Pom not interacting with cc spells except for arcane.

Holy paladins losing repentance. Doesn't make sense to give a the most defensive healer triple non dr-ing cc.

Resto shaman healing reduction, removal of tremor from totemic restoration. Holy paladin instant healing nerf.

Shadowpriest losing life swap and/or moving health percentage for disc priest to %35 so that they aren't in execute range(especially after phantasm nerf)
Also I'd like to see targeting of pets/totems with macro etc removed.

Rogues losing paralytic poison(as mentioned in the post)

The problem with the post in general is, you request change of dynamics, like whole resil system etc, where in reality some classes have already %14 crit with full crit reforge and no abilities/cooldowns to increase crit chance. So if you give say %20 crit reduction, mages will crit say %60 of the time but a lock will do like %0. There's a better way to address this, which is nerfing broken burst modifier spells and so on.
I appreciate the time and effort put in the post, good luck.
