#4018729 super edgy thread of radical opinions

Posted Bigmoran on 25 December 2013 - 07:45 AM

idk what category to put this under

merry christmas to all u swines

anyway...here's some opinions i hold about the game/community

post ur responses/ur own radical opinions pls

1. no hunter is good at this game. they have the best defensive buff in game, most potential for cross cc. one of highest damage instant cast bursts. insaneparty buffs. but they all complain and claim that other classes are their overlords. l2p

2. dk's do too much damage. ur all big babies and liars when u claim u dont have sufficient defensive cds. blood presence is better than prenerf d stance. do damage u big idiots

3. min maxing stats doesnt actually make u better at the game and wont improve ur ratings

4. treeform is still good. u all went sotf cause starship did. it was as good last patch

5. most of u suck at using sotf

6. warriors are actually pretty balanced

7. they should bring back RoV. its infinitely better than blades edge

8. you should all stop qing 5s and play 3s again

9. wow is fun

10. if u play as healer dps in 2s and u pillar/play defensive, u should be banned

11. on a similar note, as healer melee vs healer melee in 2s, the optimal strat is for both dps to train each other's healers...abide by this rule pls

12. monks are actually gods but no1 plays them

13. most rshamans suck at using CDs effectively

14. do more damage and u will win more games

15. abolished should be banned from aj for being a bad troll

16. braindance is actually a swell dude...u should get to know him personally

17. braindeadly pretends to not care about this game yet makes endless videos/tweets bashing it.  what a loser

18. rep pls

.

Intro

A rhetorical question for you, AJOT. Rhetorical, because this is not really about you. This is about a young man from a quiet home in Jersey who abandoned everything he used to believe in so he could obtain what was truly precious to him.

The Dreamer

You may know him by the names of thedream, the ape, the toddfather, Hotpartygirl or simply Todd Jones. Like many others, Todd was motivated by Zyzz (RIP) and aspired for greatness at a young age. In contrast to Zyzz though, Todd dedicated himself not only to the gym, but to his studies as well. Todd knows that becoming a highly paid lawyer is the perfect way to complement his swole physique.

However, somewhere along the line, being a swolemonster and Harvey Specter 2.0 stopped being enough for Todd. He wanted more; he wanted to be noticed by a particular dame. Unfortunately, this specific damsel was far too much in the spotlight for an up-and-comer like Todd to slip in easily, and he was very aware of the situation.

Bellajynx

Todd has always been a staunch opponent of Redditors, Imgurians, tumblr-users and meme spammers.
I'll supply this snippet from September 7th, 2013:

As a proud and accepted member of the Imgurian family, Bellajynx was the last broad I could have predicted Todd having his eyes on. But the heart wants what the heart wants, and Todd's wanted this cosplaying empress from England.

Todd has been showing his support to Bellajynx on her Facebook fan page, frequently liking and commenting on pictures. Recently, Bellajynx has been taking pictures of herself holding up a sign with a fan's name and message on it.

Todd's eyes lit up as he saw this, his heart pounded and he began to shake with excitement. This is what he had been waiting for, not only did he have the opportunity to be noticed by Bellajynx, but he could receive attention from her at the same time.

   A Desertion of Principles

Not much later, Todd's excitement began to wane and convert into panic. He noticed this post hours after it was put up, and she said she'd be finished in 10 minutes. Had he missed his chance? Would he never get his sign picture? His palms began to sweat as he contemplated a life without his name written on a piece of her paper, with her very own pen and handwriting. This is not the life Todd had planned for, nor was it the one he was willing to live.

But then - as if it was fate itself - she had posted a new status update:

Relief washed over Todd like a torrential downpour of rain after spending a week in the Sahara. He still had a shot, and he knew this was one he could not afford to miss.

Todd wasted no time commenting. Upon reading this post for the first time, my heart sank. I could not believe what I had just seen. I know there were words here, but all I could read was:

xD

Were my eyes deceiving me? I had to inquire about this.

Todd's poor soul has become so deluded by his political science studies that he truly believes his choice of emoticon was simply a disguise, a type of camoflage. I knew better though; Todd was a changed man. I should have seen it coming, as Todd is already well on his way to becoming a ruthless lawyer, it's no shock he will do whatever it takes to win.
Although I threw his comment a supportive like, rest assured knowing my mind and my heart were screaming "dislike" as I moved the cursor over the button and clicked.

What lies next for Todd? Will he receive his sign picture, or will he have sacrificed everything and have all of his effort be for naught? And will we still be there for Todd as he continues his descent down this slippery slope?
I for one will stand by his side but I will not pretend to condone this trend of emoticon usage.

#3827082 Bigmoran Recieves a Christmas Gift

Posted Bigmoran on 25 December 2012 - 01:05 AM

Merry Christmas ArenaJunkies. I really don't know what forum to put this under but I think General Discussion will suffice. This is a little Christmas story for all of you. Gather around while I tell you my tale.

So, I was visiting my parents today and my brother gets the mail and says, "Hey dude, you got something." I was pleasently suprised by this - I mean, come on, who DOESN'T like recieving mail. He hands me a doubled wrapped package that apparently had been damaged during shipping.

I read the sending address:
Posted Image

"ATTN: Bigmoran the no lifer."

The sender address was some obscure PO box address in Pennsylvania. I honestly didn't know what to expect at this point. Maybe I told one of my skype friends to mail me something? I had no idea when and why I would have someone send me something.

I go into my garage, get some box cutters. Rip through that bitch and carefully opened the inner package. Inside of it was a ziplock baggywith something in it. I pulled it out:

"Cow Dung" from poopsenders.com

I don't know who did this, but I sincerely applaud this.

Whoever did this, whereever you are and for whatever intention you had, I greatly appreciate this dedication - to send a random person on the internet pieces of cow poo.

Well played sir (or ma'am).

Merry Christmas!

TL;DR someone on the internet sent me a bag of poo.
