If you can give me a viable reason why druid/shadowpriest teams sorta dropped off the face of the earth in terms of numbers I'll believe you when you say druid/shadowpriest synergy is as good as shaman/warlocks.

Until then I call shenanigans.
I said the synergy between the two is just as strong. I did not say that druid/spriest is just as strong as warlock/shaman. Synergy means they work well together and complement each other.

#3411793 Shadowcleave vs hunter/kitty/healer

Hunter/Feral/Healer is a hard counter to Shadowcleave. Everyone on your team has to play phenomenally in order to win.

I've only faced the priest version and the only way we have managed to win is by going insanely aggressive on the priest. Your warlock and shaman need to play by a pillar as much as possible until you get pressure. Your warlock has to stand very close to your healer(hopefully a shaman) and eat every single scatter trap. Your shaman also needs to do his best to ground as many instant cyclones as possible. If your healer eats a scatter trap to cyclone to instant fear to silencing shot someone is almost certainly going to die.

Your warlock needs to make sure the hunter and feral both have curse of weakness. Your death knight needs to make a death grip swap to the priest as quickly as he possibly can without putting his team mates in an awful position. Both the DK and Warlock need to pop offensive damage CD's as soon as combat starts(Demon Soul/PvP Trinket/Unholy Frenzy/Gargoyle). The warlock also has to make sure his first(and ideally only) soul swap is put on the priest ASAP. From there the warlock needs to control the feral druid/hunter with fears while the DK pretty much solos the priest. Your DK does this by rotating interrupts in the order of mind freeze->pet stun->strangulate/death grip depending on if the priest uses his inner focus. If you do this right, the best priests in the world won't be able to live more than 20-30 seconds without peels, even if they use every single defensive CD they have. Once the hunter/feral start to peel your warlock and shaman need to start chasing the priest with the DK to help finish him off.

If the priest gets away/heals up then you need to get back to the boxes and switch to one of the DPS chaining fears into the DPS you're not attacking. But as soon as the DK's death grip comes off CD you need to use it on the priest and get back on him.

Your strategy has to be to win exceptionally fast. If you don't kill something before your shaman uses trinket/spirit link/nature's swiftness, you pretty much lose. Here are some videos of what this looks like from hunter feral priest perspective.
