- In general, a main hand hit is about 2 times as hard as an offhand hit
- That means a main gauche hit is 65% of a main hand hit, which means 1% main gauche = 0.65% main hand damage increase
- 67% of Killing Spree damage is main hand damage (KS itself and auto attacks during KS), thus 1% main gauche = 0.65 * 0.67 = 0.44% damage increase for KS
- for susained damage main gauche is hard to calculate because of special attacks. 1% main gauche is a 0.33% increase in auto attack damage, roughly a 0.44% increase in Sinister Strike damage, and a 0.15% increase in Eviscerate damage
- using PvE simulations this is roughly equal to a 0.3% increase in sustained damage for 1% main gauche
- As you are very often using KS when you were already attacking before there is no "ideal" value for your weapon speed, it is rather random where your current swing timer is at when you begin the KS, so on average, Haste can be directly transferred to auto attack damage during KS
- 1% haste increases your auto attack damage during KS by 1%
- The share of your auto attacks regarding total damage obviously changes with haste, so you have a double scaling here
- BUT even at the proposed 1s attack speed, auto attacks only make for 30% of your overall KS damage, so even at high haste 1% haste is only 0.3% damage increase during KS, for more average attack speeds of around 1.5 - 1.7 seconds it is only 0.2% damage
- for sustained damage, 1% haste is a flat out 1% damage increase
- this is easy: 1% versatility is 1% increase in KS damage and 1% increase in sustained damage
- easy: 1% crit is 0.5% increase in KS damage and 0.5% increase in sustained damage
- easy: 1% ms is 0.3% increase in KS damage and 0.3% increase in sustained damage
- 1% Main Gauche = 0.44% burst damage / 0.3% sustained damage
- 1% Haste = 0.2% burst damage / 1% sustained damage
- 1% Versatility = 1% burst damage / 1% sustained damage
- 1% Crit = 0.5% burst damage / 0.5% sustained damage
- 1% Multistrike = 0.3% burst damage / 0.3% sustained damage
To conclude something from that we obviously have to consider item budget and also consider that for 100 points of haste, combat gets actually 105 points, what we get is this:
- 100 Mastery = 1.82% Main Gauche = 0.8% burst damage / 0.55% sustained damage
- 105 Haste = 1.17% Haste = 0.23% burst damage / 1.17% sustained damage
- 100 Versatility = 0.77% Damage = 0.77% burst damage / 0.77% sustained damage
- 100 Crit = 0.91% Crit Chance = 0.46% burst damage / 0.46% sustained damage
- 100 MS = 1.52% MS Chance = 0.45% burst damage / 0.45% sustained damage
For burst damage we have (roughly): Mastery = Versatility > Crit = Multistrike > Haste
For sustained we have: Haste > Versatility > Mastery > Crit = Multistrike
Personally my favorite stat is Versatility because it is only very slightly worse than Mastery for burst, but quite a bit better for sustain AND it has the added defensive benefit.

If they promoted arena, or "would you like to find parnters for 3v3" within the client then itd be more popular. The sheer fact is newer players getting into pvp do not necessarily even know about AJ.
Side Idea/Solution for blizzard:
I think with the addition of Garrisons they should add a wing where it only allows you into each small instanced war-room based on past experience/accolades on account/class. 1800-2k 2100-2200 2300+ Multiglad/r1. Where players get certain benefits based on past accolades. This way newer players, and old have somthing to work for, and a place to physically find players of their calibur to improve as a team.
-Picture champions hall in stormwind, but instanced so that you are segregated to your own bracket "war-rooms". With this they could add somthing similar to fishing tournament but in the form of 1v1 once a day do a tournament of your class/spec for gold, higher accolades the more rewards (free repairs, enchanting mats for recent gladiators etc)
TLDR: They need somthing like Durotar/IF Gates type of area for players to gather/make teams instead of being stuck in a chat box. I know many people met arena partners back in tbc/wrath based off player made pvp specific areas such as these.

My keyboard is full basically and soon are my actionbars too.
I have regular 1-5, QRTFGXCVB and all those with shift too and shift ASD, 4 buttons on the mouse and a few ctrl binds for a few things I use rarely and also F1-F4.
It would be devestating to try and squeeze in 3 scatter binds and 3 silence shots or might my problem be that my keybinds already are kinda bad, I feel very comfortable with them though.
No idea how one does it.
Here is how I do it:
This system is basically light years ahead of the classic way, since I don't need extra binds for Arena123 stuff, I just use the same ability button for target/focus/arena123, selecting the unit by pressing the appropriate modifier (nomod = target, Lshift = focus, Rshift = arena1, Rctrl = arena2, Ralt = arena3).
In my case as you can see in the image I use the Anansi thumb buttons to remap the Arena123 modifiers (rshift, rctrl, ralt), but you can imitate this with any remappable key (with the 1-2-3 buttons of the Naga or G600 for example). Cleary superior way... I'm using 1 button while with the classic mode you need 4 buttons FOR EACH ability, which is insane and completely suboptimal. In Cata there was a 3k rated player that used this system ( Mahiko).
For the ActionBar space issue, with Ion you have infinite ActionButtons and macros (every button is a macro), you can create as many bars as you want with all the buttons you want, it's an excellent addon. If you try it beware that since 5.4.1 it has a bug but it's easy fixable.
Here are my targetting macros, I have removed the abilities I have binded with ctrl and alt because they're not relevant:
/targetenemy /targetenemyplayer /target [nomod] arena1 /focus [mod: lshift] arena1The first 2 target commands make this macro work like tab targetting outside arena (giving priority to enemy players over mobs).
/assist [@focus, help] /target [nomod] arena2 /focus [mod: lshift] arena2The first command (assist) is for PvE, to get the same target as the Tank.
/target [nomod] arena3 /focus [mod: lshift] arena3

Asserting that doing something is pointless doesn't make you automatically right. If you think nobody will change, then you don't have to participate or get your hopes up, I don't see why you feel the need to tell me that. Worst case, I'm wasting my time. Let me.

And what are you even talking about? You're right, I can't say that all of you are white, or children but by the same logic you can't guarantee me that none of you are. I have seen every episode of Catfish and if you think you are going to trick me you are wrong. You are dead wrong. One of you is white and European as fuck. One of you is like, that picture of ol' Jensen aka Wizik in that picture where he's like, an 8th grader in a Nike shirt. Yeah? Do 11 year old European kids know a lot about gangster rap? You shouldn't even be on the internet. You weren't even alive when Wu Tang or half the other groups you mentioned were making popular music.
Plus it's that whole like, facet of your society where you copy American things like, 25 years too late. Literally every single part of your society is a shitty copy of something American from the early 90s. You guys know The Office is an American show, right? And that idiot Ricky Gervais copies it and you guys are like, "Wow what a novel idea, bloke! I can't wait 'til it comes on the telly again. Mum, fetch me umbrella; I'm gonna go watch Trainspotting again with me mates."
Parasites. It isn't just TV shows - it's everywhere. Is it just a coincidence the best comps in US are also the best in EU? Fucking copycats. Do you think it's a coincidence your royal family acts EXACTLY like Kanye West and Kim Kardashian? Do you really think you can just rip off the premise of an American movie, make the title rhyme and add Jason Statham to form some sort of permanent, Captain-Planet-like, unbeatable business model for making movies? What is Europe's obsession with rhyming, anyway?
Alas, why doesn't Europe stick to what it knows? Stuff like seasonal depression, cheating and never winning BlizzCon. Even the GOOD Europeans, like Bear Grylls, are only popular in the US because Bear Grylls, like Hydra, goes forever under-appreciated by the hordes of European peasants who are too busy debating "flow", DDoSing and calling each other shit.

Anyway, just like last season here is the list of the TRYHARDS of SEASON 14.
Winning the title for two years in a row is HEUHEUEHUEHUE Brasil DK Vigaboy. Previously known as Vigarista and Vigaboyswag, this DK (who honestly plays like an Honorbuddy profile) farmed 1-2 point wins from 2470~ to safe Rank 1 rating.
Once again, this clever little bastard has backpeddled his way to another rank one title.
If this were the Olympics, Brasil would have a huge lead over everyone at this point. I say this because the tryhard druid of s14 is also a HEUHEUEHUEHEUHE BRBRRBRBRBRasil. If it wasn't obvious enough at this point, I am of course talking about Rynd. This emotional train wreck of a human being has five druids, most of which are getting rank 1. You trying to compensate for something there buddy? I hope it's your inability to grow a mustache.
Claiming the title of tryhard hunter is bucktooth Shaman Goat cleaver Tonystyle. At the beginning of the season he would queue Ret/Hunter/Shaman for literally hours every day. This guy had nearly 1500 games played at the START of the season running only ONE comp.
When he's not making donuts at Tim Hortons or yelling "DUDE DISPELL ME WHAT THE FUCK" to his teammates, Snaregodx is actually a pretty swell dude. This high calibur frost mage made it big this season, climbing his way to rank 1 of the ladder. I hear from some of my colleagues that his success in arena is due to him gemming full dodge and speccing into blazing speed when some other mage ques arena. Well praise Jahllah, because Snaregodx won his race against to Kwok to achieve rank 1 on multiple mages.
I couldn't really think of anyone relevant to put in this category. So instead I am opting to give this award to Ssjwindgodx aka Ssjwindvipx. If you don't hate him already because of his name, this black guy runs double monk (MW/WW) in 2s for multiple hours at a time. Cmon man, it's black history month. Live the dream and queue some 3v3.
It's been a while since he graduated from Bongwater University with a degree in Wind Raiding, but Eliteqt has certainly made a splash on the ladders this season. I'm sure it had nothing to do with playing with Jahmilli, but Elite climbed high on the ladders on three paladins (not to mention some obvious carries, but hustle over bitches amirite?)
I'm not sure if he is even capable of reading, but winning the tryhard award for priest is Dibbz. When he's not taking vodka shots off his bros' bellybuttons, he is spam queuing fire mage godcomp with Hansol, lord of fire. If you need some insight into the life of a sexually confused rich kid who pops his collar, drop by his stream every once in a while. Ignore the subpar shadow priest play and focus on the two shirtless dudes in the background playing ping pong.
Jax. Not much to say here.
It's a bit ironic that the tryhard shaman comes from a server commonly abbreviated ED, because this guy certainly has a big dick with the moves he pulls against streamers. Playing four shamans, each with a unique kickbot profile is Kallis, some idiot that got high ratings running Honorbuddy cleave.
Winning the title once again is Dota. It seems he has gated in and out of ~3 online relationships during this season, causing him to name change every time. His names this season went from Juliaxo to Cleanupxo to Marilynxo to Marixo. Either he is just copying the lyrics of Mambo #5 or he genuinley has been the victim of some serious /cast seduction. (jesus christ i feel like Perez hilton at this point - hold me, dan)
The tryhard warrior of this season goes to 40 year old Korean father Irub. He played multiple warriors this season, each time running KFC with some of his other squinty eye friends. The main reason he is a tryhard tho is because of his ability to create a Great Wall of Texts on AJ, none of which people give a single fuck about.

Hey guys, Yipz here. I decided to do some analysis on some of my gameplay on twitch tv infront of viewers and got EXTREMELY positive feedback and results so Id like to share the vods and maybe help some people out on some of the awareness that you should be looking to achieve in your wow careers.
This one is one vs RMD where I show how to peel effectively in openers and live throughout the game
This is one vs RLS where I show how keeping your shaman alive is the most important aspect of the game(there is a part where I miss my disperse its not important but I do go back and notice it...
This one is vs woundman and I show how important it is to rotate cds correctly and work together as a team to survive
This is a game vs an LSD where I show you that running when healer is cc'ed and using cds effectively can lead to pressure and winning
FInally this is one vs ret/priest/hunter where I show the value of feral kiting and positioning and LoS
People really found this helpful I will upload these to youtube... there were more commentaries but these are the best.
VODS ARE NOW ON YOUTUB

You say this but name yourself MVP? How ironic is that.
I'ma go out on a limb here and say that I'm not the only one that sees , gets annoyed , and skips over whatever was said.
I get it, you want to be to mutilate as what Abn is to arcane. Problem is if you want anyone to take you serious you have to actually show up with real wins against quality players. Otherwise you are just some rogue hipster claiming sub is too 'mainstream' to play.
So here since I'm sure youre itching to post it on this thread also ill do it for you
Heres the guide on the easiest/most one dimensional rogue spec in MoP atm http://www.arenajunk...-play-mutilate/
Oh P.S. for someone who wants to be the 'hero' of the mutilate rogue community, when you make a guide you probably shouldn't say things like.
Good day sir.
