I have no interest in trying to make my class or my comps overpowered. I just want the game balanced so that I can enjoy the game with my class. I don't care if melee cleaves get rooted out of the game, as long as I can play comps and can compete (and compete against wizard cleaves, which is the root of the problem).
There is so much white noise and people refuse to allow any changes to the game that would tone down their class/comp. Nerf jungle cleave, i don't give a fuck, just let my class be good enough that I can play more than just a gimmicky comp that relies on blowing people up quickly.
It doesn't matter how many nerfs you put into melee cleaves/hunters/ferals, you will never see casters allow a nerf like DRing polymorph + fear or polymorph + clone or any nerf that would actually impact the strength of wizardcleaves. That is a problem.
Stop talking to me about what you think I am or what I believe in, nobody cares, and certainly not me. Fix the game.
The problem is that with how much bias you bring, I can't have a rational conversation with you about balance. All humans are biased in their own favor, but most WoW players are biased to the point where they'd have their class be an 8 while everyone else was a 6-7. You, on the other hand, want your class to be a 9 while everyone else is a 4-5. Not only that, you put your fingers in your ears and yell "LALALA I can't hear you" when people try to explain to you that you are not, in fact, playing perfectly.
When you're playing a comp that's a 8, and lose to players playing a comp that's a 9, you complain endlessly about how it's unwinnable for you. When you win you call them bad. Stop being so biased.
The damage is retarded but is not like you didn't have time to do anything. First of all your teammates were training their healer instead of going DPS to stop some damage, then you used your cooldowns in the wrong order and poorly plus you already faced them before the match in the video and KNEW they could do that damage and STILL didn't bubble and trinket'd late. Yes the game is stupid but you could've survived that so you deserved that loss.
Zilea plays this game in single player holy paladin mode, without knowing nor tracking enemy cooldowns.
There is no defending the damage done, procs and cooldowns stack just too well, it's just retarded. But after dying 4 times already and getting a mini lecture from team mates, I think most top healers would not die like that, at least like the kill in second video, where he trinkets to dispel the feral while the resto druid is in iceblock, gets killed 5 seconds later.
I love Zilea's stream, to me it's the most fun stream to watch but unfortunately Zilea has a really wrong perception of the game mechanics. I mean there are games where his feral and hunter go out of stealth with every cooldown up and open on the resto druid, meanwhile the first fear cast lands on Zilea, he trinkets, pops avenging wrath, divine favor and guardian,,3 seconds later the enemy resto druid dies, and Zilea's reaction is: "Wow, they should be ashamed of themselves, they should win this matchup %99 of the times. Do you know how hard it is to win as Paladin?"
There isn't a single person in wow that is more bias and ignorant to his own comp imbalances than Zilea, always complaining about everything but the man in the mirror. Your perspective of what's fair and what isn't is so absurd i'm not sure how anyone takes you seriously. Everyone of these Zilea QQ videos are filled with someone popping their cooldowns and you either using your cooldowns too late or not using them at all, don't you call yourself the global champion? I hate to bash you but every single one of your criticisms are so pathetic and filled with such irony that it's a surprise how no ones called you completely foolish up to this point. Fire mages are mechanically broken and damage modifiers aren't helping but what's all that compared to the entire feral and hunter class that you are so fond of playing with? I don't get the point of any of your bullshit whine videos except to confirm everyone's suspicion that you are indeed the jokester persona you portray on-air.
lol this is why i basically stopped playing, you can literally have like 80% damage reduction and still die somehow.
I think this is part of the problem. People don't actually realize why they're dying and arena is too fast-paced for most to react. The mage has every buff in the game up:

That warrants instant cooldowns or peels as any class and not just paladins as Zilea would have you believe.
Obviously it's not really excusable that one player is capable of that much burst, and this video just highlights a much larger issue. Blizzard really needs to address all of the procs and damage-increasing abilities that many classes are able to stack together.
Casters synergize too well. Bringing another caster into a comp means an additional CC DR which is, tbh, way too strong. Take MLD as an example - Tripple fear, tripple poly and tripple cyclone.
What does a melee bring? Nothing really. The only half decent melee class atm is ferals because 1) They deal retarded damage/got stealth for a good opener 2) They have useful CC
Often times it's a lot harder to play with a melee because they have to get in there to deal damage, which means leaving your pillar of safety, where as casters can stand near the pillar and turrent damage.
As mentioned, melee were balanced because in the old days they'd have way more armor and way more stamina to withstand the damage that they would take. These days it's all normalized so a warrior has the same amount of health as a mage. They need to put more CC on the same DR to neutralize the benefits of stacking casters. Instead of simply saying "fear DRs with poly" it should be specific "warlock fear DRs with poly". You could argue that it'd be too complicated, but honestly the whole DR shit is super complicated to new players anyways. Might as well make a list.
I love Ph. You actually notice it's utility once you spec out of it. If you are used to aoe slow a lot. Not only it increases uptime but you give your enemy team a harder time to position.
The aoe root is clunky and breaks from damage. And whenever i take distrupting shout i keep getting remembered that casters actually never cast any more.
Ofc interrupting a heal or whatever can be gamebreaking. But it is just as game breaking as aoe slowing an entire team and pet zoo trying to zerg down your team mate. Or snaring a target who just got out of melee range / peeled you for a few seconds.
A sepparate rant:
We have enough abilities and buttons to press. What we need is passive utility. Most classes get these nice qol abilities so they spend less time pressing akward buttons like hamstring or a shield macro ability.
Aka the Monk / DK treatment. I call these the "By the way!" Abilities. Some examples.
You deal X ammount of damage. But here it comes. By the way! This also auto slows your target.
You just got disarmed. By the way! You gain 30% dodge when disarmed.
You used a defensive cooldown. By the way! You also break stuns.
You hit your target for x dmg. By the way! You also apply MS and deal extra dmg to all nearby targets!
What a warrior has is this.
You slow a target.
You deal x ammount of damage.
You gain a damage reduction effect.
You deal more damage.
You deal more damage and apply a bleed.
Thinking of it. It has been like that since vanilla. If you look back to the old talent trees. Half of the talents were called "Something something Specialization. You deal x% more dmg."
So why have warriors been better in the past? We just dealt a insane ammount of dmg at the cost of having no ranged attacks.
Why has that been changed? Because other melee deal more / are on par with warr dmg and have more control.
Conclusion! Why it might sound silly and derpful. But it would help in pvp as much as in Arms bad state in pve.
Warrs need qol changes and more damage. Warrs utility mostly have been trough dmg. We might have had more control in the past. But overall other classes have been complaining about our real utility. Wich is massive dmg.
The hamstring and shield changes have been done. But i doubt a 10% slam buff is helping much. Overpower or Ms need a buff.
Warriors need to be scary when connected. Not in a way where a derp lock, elem shaman or even a mage and hunter can outdps a warrior in actual melee range thx to some silly instant procs. This makes being a melee perfectly obsolete.
