I'll pay someone just so when I go to read a random thread on AJ it just blocks anything braindance posts.
It's a heavy burden being the voice of reason in a sea of morons but what can you do ey. To block me just go to your profile->edit my profile-settings->ignore preferences and add my name. Wisp me for my paypal.

I love playing with random 1500 players from tradechat, especially once they realize that I am the real Regentlord.

May I have your attention please?

Will the real Regentlord please stand up?

I'm not interested in paying for your healthcare, so Fuck you.

i don't understand how people can think this way. you don't think it's better for a nation overall to ensure its citizens receive medical care regardless of their wealth, or lack of wealth?

it's such a selfish mentality to think it's ok to let people who can't afford healthcare just die because you don't want to have to pay for it in taxes

are you against paying for public education as well?

#3777812 Has WoW had a negative or positive influence on your life?

Posted Tosan on 23 September 2012 - 02:40 AM

No time spent having fun is wasted.  Our idiotic society thinks success is synonymous with wealth/stature, but in reality success can be a personal thing; if you are happy and enjoying your life, you are successful.

But then again, the term "successful" can be applied to any standard, it depends on your goal.  If your goal is to be wealthy, regardless of actual happiness, then being wealthy makes you successful.  If your goal is to be happy, then it doesn't matter how much money you have.

I think WoW was positive for me, I've enjoyed my years on it.  No point in dwelling on "omg what else could I have done with that free time?" - that won't change anything.  I made my choice and it cannot be undone, and I appreciate all of the positives that came with the choice, as well as learning from the negatives.

Be happy that you at least didnt get hooked by an even shittier game. I realized that after playing Diablo for 2 weeks. That game is somewhat addictive too, but totally dumb, not social and puts huge strain on muscles. Must be not the only shitty addictive game out there, but if you are a lazy fuck who can't live without video games, WoW pvp is not the worst thing that could have happened.

And really the problem is not in WoW or any other video games. It's just your life is void and you can't simply remove shit from it and then start trying to fill the empty space with good stuff. Instead, you first must start doing good stuff and wow or any other shit that you hate doing will be suppressed. If you've already tried to "quit" before, you know what I'm talking about. You don't quit it, it quits you when you get busy with other things.

Has been a vastly positive experience for me!

There are of course things you miss out on by spending a lot of time on the computer, but you have to make choices in your life no matter what you're going to do.  To me WoW and other games have never been a waste of time as long as I was enjoying them, it's just like any other hobby / activity you do with your free time.  I see loads of people judging those who spend all day playing computer games who spend a massive amount of their time on Facebook, watching TV, etc etc, it's just all about priorities and what you enjoy.
