In Topic: There is a 10% overall healing reduce affecting PvP

This is one of the most difficult posts I've read on Arena Junkies. And not because it's too sophisticated. I have no idea what's going on here.

In Topic: 6.2 script help: Dispellable Debuff Border Glow

26 June 2015 - 01:17 AM

Any buff with 'Magic' dispel type is given yellow spellsteal border:

/run hooksecurefunc("TargetFrame_UpdateAuras", function(s) for i=1,MAX_TARGET_BUFFS do if select(5,UnitAura(s.unit,i)) == 'Magic' then _G[s:GetName().."Buff"..(i).."Stealable"]:Show() end end end)

Only on enemies:
/run hooksecurefunc("TargetFrame_UpdateAuras", function(s) for i=1,MAX_TARGET_BUFFS do if select(5,UnitAura(s.unit,i)) == 'Magic' and UnitIsEnemy('player',s.unit) then _G[s:GetName().."Buff"..(i).."Stealable"]:Show() end end end)

Tested on my druid today.

this is like saying "hey, I love that jacket Hitler was wearing.  Can you tell me where to get it?"

I think you can get it from Hugo Boss

You can open DRTracker.lua and change the DR categories for spells.

Thank you for your help.

I tried disabling all AddOns and the problem persisted. I also selectively enabled and disabled certain lines of the script (with all other AddOns off). When any combination of lines that does not include
CastingBarFrame.SetPoint = function() end
is used, there is no change to the UI at all. When that line is used in combination with any other lines or even completely on its own, the bar disappears entirely.

If I had to guess, Blizzard may be using the CastingBarFrame.SetPoint function themselves when the Cast Bar Underneath option is checked.

Any further suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like we need to nullify ClearAllPoints too.

CastingBarFrame:SetPoint("BOTTOM", PlayerFrame, "TOP", -15, 0)
CastingBarFrame.ClearAllPoints = function() end
CastingBarFrame.SetPoint = function() end

Alternatively, if you're like me and don't like nullifying functions like that, you can do this:

hooksecurefunc("PlayerFrame_AdjustAttachments", function()
	CastingBarFrame:SetPoint("BOTTOM", PlayerFrame, "TOP", -15, 0)

This method has the added bonus of not screwing with the castbar when you're *not* using the 'underneath' setting.
