he's ran out of people on his team to bait so he's probably sitting somewhere like pit with enough sound to hear someone scope in at the back corner of B, moving a maximum of 10 meters in a minute and a half (entirely slowwalked)
after about 30 seconds everyone on the other team gets bored as fuck running around with knifes out or just in general not really playing
said faggot cleans up and thinks he's good (in this case probably you)
if you look at his steam profile his entire alias history is probably something along the lines of
at the drop of a hat they will drop some lines like "lol pub" when the pinnacle of their competitive gaming career was playing a pug with an amateur league player in it (the lowest paid league above open)
after 3 rounds of this half the server leaves and plays dm instead
Wait... You bought the BenQ XL2420T and you don't know that it's a 120hz monitor? Use DVI-D Dual Link and get 120hz.
what this guy said
use the DVI that came with the monitor, it will have the bandwidth to support 120hz, if you aren't sure if it's the right one (there's been cases where some 120hz don't come with appropriate cords from memory)

Upto 1920x1080 at medium quality, VGA will be fastest (lower latency/response).
DVI is next in line, with dual DVI adding some extra latency overhead but giving you some 'perceived' fps gains.
Top FPS players still swear by VGA (and even CRT) for reasons like that.
For games like WoW you obviously don't need to shim out an extra 0.5ms response so the answer is pretty straight forward: dvi or hdmi.
dvi is probably fastest now when you factor in frames/ms differences on top of input lag unless there's >120hz crt's
