#3538990 Justin.tv - Help!

Posted Huppins on 04 November 2011 - 09:43 PM

1) Download XSplit (eventually they will charge for it I think, but it's in beta).
2) Create Justin.TV account.
3) Configure XSplit for your account, and other settings (audio, video quality).

Hell... just check out this Youtube video, it should provide you with enough details. Skip the last half of the video though because it describes how to capture console system games and such, so I didn't find it particularly useful.

Note: you don't have to use XSplit to stream, but I find that it's pretty easy to setup, if you are new to streaming.

How can you tell if it's 7200 or 5400?
Im noob at computers :P
It'll say on the outside of the HDD.  Alternatively

Run (Windows key + R) -> msinfo32 -> Components -> Storage -> Disks -> Model (copy the model number, paste it into Google, find the RPM from there).

Probably more ways than that to figure it out.

Also I strongly recommend a 2nd HDD for recording.  Just drop the $30-$50 on a drive and stick it in, not a huge deal.
