I see you got the most answers already but I'll pitch in with my opinions.
My standard glyphs going into arena is Poly/Armor + random
Only time I'll swap out my armor glyph is if I plan to run frost armor and never switching. Mage armor with reduced time is pretty nice vs dotcleaves / spellcleaves. If ur against a warrior u pretty much wanna go molten, so normally u'll be in that shit anyways. Third glyph depends on what we meet, if theres a hunter/lock pet I tend to go splitting ice alot, if its a spellcleave go ice block (or melee + direct dmg caster). Now that remove curse glyph is 5% I haven't really played with it, otherwise that + splitting ice vs locks was yummy.
If you aint planning on splitting ice, you can go with the normal choices of deep or evo, which I myself rarely play. Find it hard to get off evos and remembering it will heal me the few times I get that glyph, it does however serve a very good purpose if pulled of properly. Deep is obviously good also and I see alot of mages running it as a standard glyph, as I did once but after getting used to long deep, I've pretty much played it all the time, but it depends on ur playstyle, if u deep for cc or kill mainly I'd say. But deep of global is great even for cc.
