Over the years, we've added significantly more new spells and abilities to the game than we've removed. This has led to the complexity of the game increasing steadily over time, to the point we're at now, where players feel like they need dozens of keybinds.
I was excited that they understood it was a problem, but didnt want them to go too far.
And what did they do? It seems that they just replaced spheres with surging mist, removed disarm and spinning fire blossom and added one more spell as lvl 100 talent. Maybe im bad at math but is it one keybind less? Or two if we pick a pasive lvl 100 talent?
Nice ability pruning there. Good job blizzard.

In Topic: mw monk representation

Dont even listen to this monk haters. The main reasons are (ofc not the only ones):
  • you are very low rated untill you realize that you have to spam spheres to win (this actualy sux and many ppl leave the class when they try to play "the normal way" and see that they get outplayed hard by everyone)
  • spheres are harder to use and require much more atention than target heals (you cannot look at gladius all the game for example)
  • monk has pathetic hots and no shields. On top of that he cannot prevent as much CC on him as any other healer can.
This 2 factors mean that you can dominate the match and then lose it in 8 sec sheep (while a shaman could use a ton of low cd ablitities to prevent it, or at least prehot the poor guy).
I agree that representation doesnt mean much, but im also 100% sure that if tommorow morning blizz introduces some kind of "monk style" stampede bug, in 1 month monk will become the most represented class.

If monks really did have every utility in the game and warriors really did have nothing, then warriors wouldnt've have almost 5x the representation in arena (even though the amount of each class at 90 isn't vastly different).
Im sorry but monk does have much, much, much more utility. Warrior has some advantages over monk (for example damage), but we are speaking about utility, isnt it? Actualy, If they give monk 25% defensive stance, give him some kind of "thunder clap aoe" and slightly buff tunnel I see 0 reasons to play warrior over monk... You can call me biased all you want, but its true and every single person that played both classes knows it.

compare classes spells because most of the time it's extremely biased
I think its extremely biased to say that warrior has good utility just because he has 5x monk representation.

All these 2k people in this thread saying retarded shit.

You bring almost nothing. Ring of Peace on some comps, Stun on others. Good against cleaves, awful against wizards. Rat leagues are all Cleaves, Glad+ is all wizards.

Every single comp besides TSG, the MW can be replaced and it becomes a better comp.
Every 16 sec CC chain can lead to defeat. And every caster comp can actualy spam CC chains.

Reason: no hots, no shields. Basicaly no preventative stuff. Also there is no stuff to avoid CC. (Like tremor for example or sacrifices, etc...)
