I'm really disappointed to see this kind of shit among players. As Drewzy mentioned, win trading is one thing, but hacking someone's account through the use of identity theft is beyond try hard.

I had a lot of respect for Khuna as a player, I don't know who did it, but he definitely was apart of the scheme.

This isn't even a joke, identity theft "in most circumstances, carries a maximum term of 15 years' imprisonment, a fine, and criminal forfeiture of any personal property used or intended to be used to commit the offense"(http://www.justice.g...es/idtheft.html)

And there is clear evidence of identity theft here so... gg

#3454069 Anyone else considering going nelf instead of human now

Posted Zelyx on 25 August 2011 - 01:53 PM

My rogue friend definintely loves the change. Shadowmeld saps almost every game it's pretty sick.
I myself as a priest definitely am going nightelf. Shadowmeld is like amazing.... you can meld any CC or meld drink

OH and the 2% chance to miss is ridiculous LOL, all sorts of "miss" going on.
You see someone coming towards you and you see "miss" and you go "watever the fk that was it was probably important (insta cc's like blind etc..)"

#3411786 RMP

Posted Zelyx on 03 August 2011 - 08:11 PM

First off, RMP does have counters. Any feral comps like shaman/lock/feral, FMP will be hard for you. Now onto your strat question:

Kitty cleave:
Open super hard on either warrior or paladin, depending on position. Usually going on warrior is good, so sap paladin, you fear him off mount. Triple DPS warrior down with smokebomb stuns, with constant CC on pally (imp cs, deep, polys etc.) get ready to MD bubble into full CCs.

Switch between shaman and mage. RMP rapes mages especially, so mage is your primary target. You as the priest must LoS all game pretty much, try to get shaman's tremor down off mount but don't risk yourself by overextending. Try to get a kill by the 2nd fear.

If lock is in the open trying to stop you in the beginning, start a sap on him, then make your way to sap shaman or if you find mage, sap him, purge the mage full. Deep poly the shaman or Imp cs, nova, ring of frost so you can CC without being locked, blow mage up with fast MD.
If shaman is sapped without earthshield, everybody go near him, RoF smokebomb and blow nuclear bomb on him (icy veins, dance, PI, pet). Make sure hes stunned/garroted properly. Either he dies or will trinket and pop a lot of CDs. CC him swap back to mage.

Swap between shaman and lock, you can swap to rogue if overextending too. Try to LoS fears and watch for swaps on you, the priest, they tend to do this a lot. A good RLS is very hard to beat, so just try to get the best opener possible to blow as many CDs they have.

hope that helps!

edit: sry I didn't know what class you were just assumed you were priest :P

#3404249 RMP vs lock + shammy teams

Posted Zelyx on 30 July 2011 - 02:46 PM

Like Mouzi said, you want to be killing the shaman in a stun/bomb swap, and you should be switching between shaman and the lock.
Any Shaman/lock/X is going to be hard for you as RMP because shaman's themselves screw you over in so many ways with all their cds and especially tremor.
VS RLS, you don't want to be in the open much unless going for kill. Try to stay in a distance to avoid swaps to you since they tend to do that a lot. Just LoS fears as much as possible and that stops most of the cc's on you

What part of CC and switch targets are you not getting?
Don't be so mean :(

Hey Shirwin,
Okay you need to understand the basics of RMP. RMP heavily revolves around the opener. That means if your opener does not go to plan, you will start fighting up hill. Do whatever you can to get a strong opener, make sure you shield rogue so he doesnt get popped out of AoE.

Sounds like what you are missing is momentum. RMP unlike a lot of other comps requires momentum, and it starts right from the opener. Once you lose this momentum you start losing the game (forced defensive). So in your opener you either get a kill, or get a trinket or some CDs and you create a momentum for your team to constantly bring pressure with a lot of swaps. But don't just switch for no reason, this isn't RLS where you switch every few seconds, only switch when that target isn't likely to die.

If the target isn't likely to die in the opener, switch instantly, do not hesitate. You have to swap a lot as RMP and make use of effective smokebombs. And don't just smokebomb in the opener for no reason, be smart about it. If healer is sapped in a distance, and you guys can lock down that DPS, then smokebomb while you go fear that healer off sap.

Now back to the opener. You have to be willing to put in your chips and blow some CDs for your opener to be strong. That means popping icy veins, power infusion, shadow dance etc. Now don't always just pop those cds, it depends on the situation. Like if your rogue gets popped out of stealth, you don't want to be doing this. Just look for a opportunity to reset the fight into another opener.

Now what do you do after the opener? Eventually you want to be doing another "opener", which is usually the kill stage, when you pop your reset CDs like cold snap, prep etc. In between that you want to be keeping that momentum going with constant CC and good switches. Don't be forced defensive, defensive RMP never gets anywhere. Do some counter pressure and CC a lot. Just don't be forced defensive too long as RMP.

As for Priest PoV tips, theres only a few I can tell you by text, rest you have to learn by videos and experience. Some real basic tips like
-Always stay near the pillars, there's never any real point in going out into the open
-Don't just rush out to get a fear, your fear should be used whenever possible but should not put you in danger
-Always think about what you are doing or where you are moving to and why. Do not overextend and expose your self into the open for CC's or swaps.
-Make sure your rogue is dispelled as much as possible from roots/ccs

Hope that helps!

Well hopefully it affects PvE players so we can expect a fix imminently.

Probably not =/
They don't need to drink during encounters so this probably won't be fixed for a while
because this game is bout the P-v-E

I reported this on the bug section though anyway
