Seriously. You should not have even had a 5 second silence in the first place. Now you have a 2 second RANGED + INSTANT silence that can be used as an interrupt on a heal or for that little bit of extra CC. Stop the whining.

No smart Discs want Silence. We want Scream back baseline. Its not worth having at this point, a 45s CD interrupt is pretty lame.
Disc is perceived as overpowered because of the current meta where most of what you see is Hunter/X and some sort of melee cleave. Silence lends itself to an off DR weapon against opposing healers, and thus allows them to be trained into the ground. Also playing with a Ret allows Disc to stay out of ridiculous Hunter/x CC.
Also Disc currently suffers from any opposing offensive dispels. Playing with a Ret alleviates this for a few reasons:
1. Most teams sit the Ret in games against them in order to remove some of the ridiculous selfless healer off healing. Rets have an enormous amount of passive magical procs/buffs that happen as they use their abilities. This gives them an incredible amount of passive dispel protection if Disc is healing them, since instead of having a 50/50 chance of removing PW: Shield every purge (Mending or Shield removed) you now have to deal with an additional 3-4 buffs constantly stacking that need to be stripped.
2. Disc has always been about stabilizing with absorbs and assisting offensively, keeping everyone alive just long enough to get score a kill. Currently Disc struggles with flat out throughput. This throughput is provided by a Ret (or in some cases a Feral) lending Disc what it needs to be extremely strong in some comps. I.E. - Disc doesn't have tremendous throughput, but off healing from certain hybrids compensates for that.
I would challenge folks to try and play one if they think they're so broken, and I wouldn't argue that in the current environment - they are extremely strong. But remove silence and/or nerf hybrid healing/Ret dispel, and it's a completely different game for Disc priests.
I think any Disc with half a fucking brain doesn't want silence. We want Scream back on a ~30s CD passive. We don't want Feathers in the game, we want getting fears to be challenging and rewarding. I'd rather see them dump feathers, replace with Inner Focus w/Aura Mastery and let us free up a glyph slot.
Make Desp Prayer and Angelic Bulwark usable instead of passive(Prayer while stunned maybe, Bulwark not while stunned but undispellable?)
Give some throughput to the Tier 6 talents (Div Star hits for ~5k each pass in full gear in a PvP instance - thats ~3% of a health bar)
Make PoM instant and buff it a bit (currently hits for ~6k in PvP instance - that's ~1.7% of a health bar)
Give back some sort of freedom effect on self shield instead of Spectral Guise (for Disc only)
Change Tier 7 talents - I hate having my talent of choice just basically give me a shitty heal and a coin flip chance at dispel protection. Saving Grace is meh. CoW has too long of a cast time.
That'd at least move us back in the right direction. I also hate having atonement be procced by main school spells but doubtful that they'd ever go back to LK/Cata methodology.
TL;DR: Don't be ignorant, we understand that we're really strong right now - but it has more to do with what classes are queuing with us than what we actually have inherently. We're all on the same page here and want Disc back to where it was years ago in terms of play-ability from an offensive healer niche perspective.

i find it very funny to see people who couldn't break 2.2 in visc/ruthless - and all of the sudden got to 2.4 as tripple dps, trapping into groundings overlapping every cc in the freaking game and still manage to win...pretty sad

I can definetly imagine big heals if the Ret has Str trinket up, Landslide, Guardian of Ancient Kings (20 Stack), Wings, WoG glyph and then heals the DK taking +20% Healing. But I hardly doubt it is 120-150K, especially with a MS on top of the guy he is healing. But I think the highest Heal I've done is like 70K.

"highly doubt it is 120-150k" thats a fucking 152369 heal from a ret pally. there is no chance that ret pallys should be able to do so much healing no matter the cd's popped, even with eveything down heals can easily do 40-70k heals on targets <35% health. that's so retarded
