Ret/Hunter is nowhere near as strong as it used to be just given the fact that hunters lost CC and everything else does more damage, like ferals. 2s also blows ass.
Feral/Healer is rough, esp if it's a disc. Really not much you can do other than CC the priest best you can and blow the feral up. Double DPS is always about pressure, so trink the first stun and just blow everything with a HoJ into the priest that your hunter can trap off of. It's risky to blow trink on opener b/c you can get put into a fear or something, but if you sit there and let the feral open on you w/o trinking (even with wall), you're pretty much dead.
Ret/Healer, again esp if it's a disc, really not much you can also do other than CC the priest and pray to god you kill the ret in a global before he remembers to bubble. If the ret is good he'll just sac the priest CC for days and you can't win. You can't really go priest b/c by the time your hunter can purge BoP, etc, you're dead.
I find that Ret/Warrior (Arms prob) is way stronger than Ret/Hunter right now. You can beat feral teams, but you exclusively lose to Ret/Disc way harder. BOP is too good. The only time I ever won a Ret/Disc game was when we started disc to put fake pressure, then swapped to ret really fast and somehow globaled him before his priest healed him. Not sure. Probably a retard.
I've been ret since 2007 but recently went holy so I could do RBGs and stuff. Highest rating is 2100 so I am not an amazing arena player but I am aware of the class.
I played with a feral today, went 18-1 and the only loss was an 8 minute game vs Sheldon. I played with a prot warrior last night and lost practically every game. I got trained to the ground and there's only so many times you can juke before you're in big trouble. These days aura mastery is negated almost always for me since I get stunned as soon as it goes up.
Anyway, is it on the warrior I got trained to the ground or do I need to learn to get better at pressure situations on myself? I try to use my cds as spaced out as possible but it was so stress man.
