If you mean the little "delay" in the game that makes it possible to eg. cast grounding as the CC lands on you, so grounding is up but you are CC'ed, blind mage on his deep freeze, bomb as you get deeped, cast a heal on a target that is in combat and drink afterwards, be polyed with reflect up, gouge when someone stuns you, etc, etc, etc. Then you should probably get used to it, because it has ALWAYS been in the game, and it probably will always be. For dumb players (like you) that don't understand it even though it has happened 100 of times will stay dumb and bad (or worse than what they could have been), and clever players will learn how it works and use it to their advantage. Most players consider it a technical error, and go in whine mode. But since it has always been here, it's a part of the game and it's your fault for not knowing this.

True, PvE get's screwed.

And that would make the talent more or less just a flat 6% damage increase. I think it's fine with random burst, as long as the chance is low, and it's not coming from instant. What is out of control is instant lava bursts that you more or less cannot prevent. With mastery procs it's easily +110k and since you always have a full shield stacked, it's another +100k IF fulmination crits.

We are going to use Earth Shock so rarely with this change. It's a weird change, because it makes us have an even harder time when being trained.

  • make it so that lava burst only hits 25% harder if it's being casted.
  • disallow lava surge procs when you are already casting a lava burst (2x lava burst is too much)
  • lower fulmination dmg, but increase the chance to proc one from LB and CL
  • Lightning Shield no longer loses a stack when being triggered, and we no longer gain one from being hit
